He's a role player on a team that competes with the best of the best PG Prep schools, like Brewster Academy, Mt. Zion, New Hampton, etc. All these schools are loaded with D1 talent. He's got talent, or he wouldn't even be on that team, but we need to start picking off some of the stars from these basketball prep school factories.

Kevin Zhang had a similar profile and was at Monteverde, only Zhang was better. I hope he proves me wrong but I’ll be surprised if this guy gets off the bench.

I agree, but then again, he may be the 2nd cummin' of Phil Hicks
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

That's tough to do with Tulane's costs being so ridiculously high.

I think his family can afford Tulane. Tuition at Northfield Mt Herman for boarding students a paltry $63,000 + a year.

That was what I was thinking. plus Tulane gives some support even to rich kids as long as they have great grades. We are not strictly need based.

Baseball has dipped inti the rich kids up north to overcome the scholarship limits.

For their PG basketball program, I'd be very suspicious that the family paid more than $5k. And not for nothing, but Northfield Mt. Herman has a reputation as being the school many go to when they've been kicked out of other schools. I went to (and hated) Tabor Academy. NMH was in the same athletic conference. They were thugs. But I will admit that was back in the late 1970's. (Enjoyed my Senior year in Jamestown NC as my own guardian!)

Some of these PG programs would be damned competitive versus D1 programs. Most of them know who will be on their roster 2-3 years out. Brewster Academy, for example, as of the 2018-19 season had 45 alums (men and women) playing NCAA (mostly D1) basketball:
