Such a good prospect there's not a single school interested. Wonder why? His grades are definitely good enough to get in school on an academic scholarship of some sort.

I'm guessing he's going to be a walk on?

This is in golfnut's back yard. Wonder if he has any info on young master Coltrin.

Again, why the need to bring in your faith. So I guess God chose you. What about the students who did not get an offer? Did they not pray hard enough. It’s insulting

His situation of having few offers seems to a result of the fact that once the best QBs have been recognized by the mainstream recruiting services, many of the remaining QBs that are not rated as highly do not receive as much attention.

Well, that, and pro-style QBs seem to be get less attention than their dual-threat counterparts. For example, Ken Seals, a high end pro-style 2020 QB and the highest rated pro-style QB in Texas for that class, only has offers from Vanderbilt, BC, and Kansas from the P5. In contrast, Chandler Morris, who is similarly rated in the 2020 class but is a dual-threat and is not the highest rated dual threat in Texas, has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Colorado, and Indiana. So, imagine what that would look like for notably lower rated pro-style QBs.

Also, his 247 weight is listed at 178, and that's just not going to cut it.

Finally, his 6'1 height isn't ideal for a pro-style QB. It's true that that may not affect his play, but it will scare away P5s independently from from other factors.

Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
