Exactly. Any talk about Sehic and the “next level” is crazy.

While I’m sure Hunter would be glad to have a talented big man, I just have a gut feeling that his teams will usually be comprised of athletic players in the 6’4” to 6’8” range. Perry Clark’s old Posse was like that.winwave wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 6:30 am What is does for us if he's truly gone is clear space for Hunter to turn over the roster which was much needed. Word has been he's got one more transfer. No word on who or what type but obviously hoping for a player with some size. We know Hunter likes to talk hype and he's talked it about Koka. I hope he can figure out how to use him . However we heard a lot of hype from MD last year about him going into the season. Then his deficiencies were exposed and his time cut. But even if he doesn't work out and the transfer isn't a big man I'm confident Hunter can figure out how to scheme around it as he's had to do his whole career.

Sehic gone. I'm assuming this means he's going to pursue playing in Europe. I have as good a chance of getting drafted in the NBA as he does.
Cornish, Paul, Sehic, Daniels, Crabtree, Barret and Wood gone. Is that just about all of the competive man minutes from last year's team other than Koka and Zhang?
So now that's settled, who's next to commit to the Wave?
I think there is one more transfer in the pipeline...waiting for the grades/transcipt to be approvedWavyHoops wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 9:21 am

If one wants to read between the lines about Tulane basketball under Dunleavy, there’s a lot here:

Clear as a bell. Dunleavy ran a half-assed program. Something that was painfully obvious from what we saw on the court.

Kittles: Just like Saint Augs but it's a college campus in Philly. Caleb could not have asked for a better endorsement.WavyHoops wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 8:00 pm If one wants to read between the lines about Tulane basketball under Dunleavy, there’s a lot here:

Do we know if there's mutual interest? This would be a HUGE get for Tulane. He might be eligible immediately with two years left.WavyHoops wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 11:29 amWould be a very good get.

no matter who else happen to be on Tulanes team, next year will see a more athletic, aggressive, put the ball in your face team dressed in green....compared to the last three years, this will look like Nolan Richardson's "40 minutes of hell" when he was at Arkansas

I'm trying to figure out the roster, and it looks like we might often play 3 or 4 guards! Please help fill in the missing pieces, but here's what I came up with:
Thompson (G)
Walker (G)
Ona Embo (G)
Zhang (G/F)
Koka (C)
Ajang (F)
Thomas (G)
Lawson (G)
Russell (F) (174 lbs at 6'7" prob needs a RS year)
I think I'm missing 3 or 4 scholarship players.

Hoping the team is much improved but I heard the same BS when Dunleavy came in and underperformed. We know Hunter has a big mouth and ego, but will that translate into wins. Only time will tell what the outcome will be. Dunleavy did not recruit badly as some of you have said. Let's see how Wood, Crabtree, Daniels all perform with their new teams. And see how the Dunleavy left overs perform for Hunter. Dunleavy just did not adjust to the college game, his coaching was very suspect. But the jury is out on next years team, blowing smoke does not mean wins. Settle down give Hunter a chance and don't put anymore pressure on him then he will have coming off of last season.

There's only one direction this team can go from last year: up!
It has to be a team that's more fun to watch than the $hitshow that was on the court the last few years. Though we might be the skinniest team in D1 basketball!
