Tanner Lee signed a 4 year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on May 11, 2018 after being selected in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. The contract is worth $2,601,544.
He’s 24 years old and In two years he’s already collected $975,000 of that $2.6 million. He’s an NFL QB something many of the pundits said he’d never be. Once again winwave is correct.
He’s definitely making more money playing NFL QB than any poster here ever did playing pro ball and he’s not yet reached his full potential.

Those are the NFL minimum salaries for first and second year players. He makes that when he's on the active roster, which he was for 1 game last season. As a practice squad player he makes the mandatory $7600 per week, which isn't bad, but isn't close to what the NFL roster salary calls for. So last year he made 7600 for 16 weeks and $30k for week 17. His total of $151,600 is not bad for holding a clipboard. last season,Show Me wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 5:58 am Tanner Lee signed a 4 year contract with the Jacksonville Jaguars on May 11, 2018 after being selected in the 6th round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Tanner, like any practice squad player, was cut by the Jaguars. Then re-signed to the practice squad. Practice squad players make $7600/week. The other figures are NFL league minimums for active players.

Believe what you want. To be named to a practice squad, a player must be cut and clear waivers. When he's cut, his contract is voided. Practice squad players are paid $7600/week. They can be paid more, but their salaries count towards the salary cap, so it's rare that they make more than that. I do not dispute that he signed a contract with those values; I don't believe he was paid what the contract called for as NFL contracts are not guaranteed. My guess is the website you're quoting didn't update every player that was cut as there's literally hundreds.Show Me wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2019 9:18 amLook under the History tab. You could be right, after all, my research is internet based as well.
But the NFL offices keep track of salary cap 365 days/year. Contracts are not valid until approved by the NFL offices for that (among many other) reason. I'm sure the NFL isn't using a website to do their work for them. IF Jacksonville paid Tanner that much money that was very nice of them. $7600/week is all 99% of practice squad players get paid. But I'll take your word and the website's word that Tanner made close to half a million dollars after getting cut last year.

Looks like that $151,600 was at the end of 2018. Didn’t include last season.
By the way Check our Patrick Ramsey and JP Losman career $$$$ they did quite well. And Ryan Griffin has made over $4 million career wise up to 2018.

Nope, you are wrong by thinking this kid was and is a good QB. He was the INT machine with poor awareness great hype I promised you and the two other fans he would be. CJ and Riley might have had more success had they knew that a starter doesn’t panic and toss picks on a regular basis. You've been wrong all along . The Saints have Drew Brees, who will be first ballot Hall of Famer, and a good offensive line with weapons to boot yet went 7-9 for three straight season and 4 of 5 before the recent two seasons. Sorry it's just not all about the QB. We get that a few like you can only see one player on the field but it's a team game. CJ was unfit to ever be a HC. Riley was at the end of his career. Lee sucked as our starter. Who gives a flying F if he “won” the damn job. I am just glad that him and CJ are away from Yulman. Lee wasn’t the man for the job. We have a coach who can win, and a quarterback that gets us moving without tossing picks all day like Lee.
