I didn't know Melvin LeCompte. He deserves our respect as a VietNam veteran. Also, anyone whose Times Picayune obituary mentions that he loved Tulane Football and whose obit picture shows him wearing a Tulane cap deserves to be mentioned on this site.
Rest in peace, Melvin. May the Green Wave honor your memory with a season to remember.
