The recent inductee to the Tulane Hall of Fame has been showing up on LPGA leaderboards lately. Today, in the LPGA match play event, she advanced from pool play to the round of 16. Go, Gemma!!

Gemma missed some opportunities in the quarter finals and lost her match in extra holes. It was a good showing and hope she learns from it.

Gemma was just selected as a captain's pick for the European Solheim Cup team. Interestingly, LSU grad, Madeleine Sagstrom was also selected. Two former Louisiana college golfers on the European team.
