That’s awesome wow ! Congrats Mooney!

It also makes me frustrated as we had two of the fastest wr’s in the draft- one of which going on the 5th round . . . And we did almost nothing with them last year

Seen on Twitter:
Tulane has produced an NFL Draft pick in four straight years, the first time since 1999-2002. Includes three straight with a CB.

The six draft picks since Willie Fritz took over in 2016 are more than the number of Tulane picks over the previous 10 years.

Mooney is the first H.S. recruit he had drafted. Hopefully the first of many.

Surprised Bradwell wasn’t drafted. Hopefully he can make the team.

We haven't had + QB play since Ryan Griffin, and at that point it didn't matter because the team around him was terrible. At this point the lack of + QB play is why we are a mid-AAC team and not a contender.

And some here felt McM was worthy of a Tulane HOF entry!!

Meanwhile, OT Lucas Niang, TCU, whom I had given contact info to CJ and Lichtenberger when he was a HS underclassman, was picked in the 3rd round, #96. A four year starter at TCU, neither Lucas, nor his legendary coach, Lou Marinelli, were contacted by anyone from Tulane. Had we contacted coach Marinelli back in 2014, who knows what could have been? Since that time he, and his son who (left New Canaan to coach Greenwich 2 years later) have put roughly 80 players into the ranks of the NCAA.

Judging by the Chicago Tribune, the signing of Mooney is a very good thing...

I don't know when I was ever at the Tribune site, but I've used up my articles and couldn't read. Can someone cut/paste this article, giving credit to the source?

No surprise that Tulane is a good pedigree with Bears fans for football picks since Forte.

Pratt will probably get playing time this season.
