A Tulane great passes on. Maybe a sign from above since we are playing Auburn this week.
Gene beat Auburn the last time the two schools met it was at old Tulane Stadium in 1955 when he threw a few touchdown passes for the win

A true Tulane Fan / Alum...my best memories of him, a Gentleman

Great guy. Very sorry to hear this. May he rest in peace. May McMillan join him as a Tiger Killer.

Actually, we did play Auburn once since then, in 2006.
