Possibly so the students can attend before they head off for Thankgiving week? Just a guess.tnelly15 wrote:Lsu beat this team by 20+, we need to do something similar.
Also, I noticed we play at 12:30 on Friday anyone know why?

nicholls' website has it listed at 7pm...

weird that it's at that time. i'd think this game would draw some interest at a decent time.

The 12:30pm Friday game is against Maryland-Eastern Shore.
The Nicholls State game tonight is at 7:00pm.

46 point win over a team that beat us last year. Nice performance tonight .. NSU coach said that not many teams in the country would have beaten tulane tonight. Not too sure how accurate that is but it is nice to hear that about a tulane team ...

LSU got beat by Coastal Carolina tonight. Tulane played better against Nicholls State than LSU did. Kinda feels good seeing LSU lose the same night Tulane win.tnelly15 wrote:Lsu beat this team by 20+, we need to do something similar.

Totally impressed with the performance tonight! 46 point win over a overmatched team is what you need to do! It's early, but we have athletes!

Just for the record, the attendance was 1907. If the head counters at Tulane football were keeping track, that's 26,580.

Wow, who would have thought a D-1 athletic program would draw more for an early season weeknight basketball game against a lower tier opponent, than the football team did for a conference opponent. Hopefully, we're on the verge of ending those days forever.Robert1969 wrote:Just for the record, the attendance was 1907. If the head counters at Tulane football were keeping track, that's 26,580.
