And Pratt gets another rest week, showing him wearing a brace this week before warmups.
If we go up by a few touchdowns, I would tend to give Ibieta a few snaps not Pratt.

I hope we see Ibieta and Haggard. Some have said Ibieta's still not fully recovered and his throwing motion isn't right. Let's see what Haggard has. It's his second season in the program and we should give him a little PT.

Haggard may play if we are way way up. He is not the future to put it nicely.

Haggard may not be third string, quarterbacks from California, Tennessee, and Florida. Keep track of the roster Willie is not so open, do your research!!!

Dream on Mrs. Horton. Like I said it won't be Haggard. Mensah is the one to watch. Not sure if he's ready next year so portal away.

This is totally consistent with what Coach Fritz has been saying for the past 2 weeks for anyone who was listening instead of making speculation and opinion based on nothing.

Lagniappe
Senior wide receiver Phat Watts left the team on Monday, ending a bid to return from the ACL injury that sidelined him early in 2022. After making 17 receptions in 2020 and 18 in 2021, he did not have a catch in the first three games and did not play at all against Southern Miss. This was his first year apart from twin brother and former teammate, Duece Watts, who had 85 catches for 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns in three years with the Wave.

Crazy situation. He's removed from the on-line roster and Guerry is sticking by the fact that he is no longer on the team. We'll see.

Fact with and MCL injury if that is what Pratt has, he can run all he wants, straightforward is not an issue, cutting and getting hits which Fritz has no way to know as quarterbacks are off limits in practice. Any hits Pratt gets against Nicholl St. will determine how healthy he is. That is a risk to do it against Nicholls St. a team they don't need to take that risk against.

Rehab
As you recover from your injury, the goal is to regain strength in your knee and prevent further injury. Treatments may include:

physical therapy to strengthen muscles and improve your knee’s range of motion
wearing a protective knee brace during physical activity
limiting activities that can cause further injury, such as contact sports

Hoping Pratt is wearing the brace for a few weeks to protect the knee from impact.

Remember last year Willie pushed Pratt to play against Southern Miss who beat us, Play calling was more conservative and Pratt was not as effective.
