There is absolutely no benefit to going first. It's stupid arrogance of a dirtbag coach.

No question. I'll miss all of the teams that are leaving.

Horton was so cool on game winner. Went to throw the out. When CB jumped it, pulled back and hit Spears throwing it to the outside to make sure safety couldn’t get there. It looked as natural as could be. Three year starter type stuff on both the read then adjustment then throw. Kool Kai new nickname!

Roll all of our QB's out some. In fact it was one of the things Svoboda said he was going to do to compensate for the OL. Yet he doesn't follow through.

The defense has proven themselves to be the real deal. The first two opponents sucked so it was hard to tell anything from those games. Now they have shown they are legit. If the offense and ST's could just be decent we could win the conference.

As much as i was disappointed last week, last nights game was a great effort on the part of our young men. The leadership on this team, especially on the defense with Nick Anderson, gives us a chance against anyone on our schedule. Gotta figure out a way to get Spears 25-30 touches per game, as he is a game changer and usually the best athlete on the field. While Horton was at best pedestrian for 3 quarters, he TCB when the game was on the line. Now we need to maintain that effort against an ECU team that we will be favored to beat at home, with or without Pratt.

I really thought the team would be prepared and the coaching staff had them ready. I thought both QB's played well enough to win. The defense is solid. Jesus, we need to find a kicker. Great win and I hope WF makes them practice twice as hard just to keep them focused for next week.

It will cost almost $20 million to do so.

With five years and two months left on his contract, Dana Holgorsen is not getting fired. There are no conversations among UH higher-ups discussing this anywhere. As of Saturday, October 1, Dana is owed nearly $19.5 million. 2023, 2024, and 2025 are all guaranteed in full – that’s over $13,000,000 before the 60% he is owed for 2026 and 2027.

It’s not happening.

Houston struggles under Dana
The home schedule is halfway over, and UH is 1-2 at home. So that’s 9-8 under Holgorsen at home and 7-8 vs. FBS teams.

UH is 19-18 vs. FBS opponents under Holgorsen.

Dana Holgorsen is now 21-18 through 39 games at UH.

Tony Levine went 21-17 in 38 games as UH coach.
Yet he’s owed almost $20 million if they fire him. Houston is screwed for awhile. Big-12 or not.
