Probably MANY more votes if our jackass coaching staff makes the proper adjustments in the second quarter!

It was a vote by a writer for the Toledo Blade. He voted Tulane 23, K. St. 24th and OU 25th.

I thought the typo was in the word “polled”, when it should have been “poled”—which is what we got Saturday evening.

Why would it be a typo, Kansas St. win over Oklahoma elevated us beating them!!! Not that Southern Miss was a bad team. We lost with Special teams blocked fg, missed fg, block punt.

Another situation where Kansas St beating Oklahoma helped us more than losing to USM hurt us. We still moved up three places. Of course, we probably would have moved up a dozen if we'd taken care pf business.

And Cincinnati is still the only team left on our schedule ranked higher than us.

But these rankings show what an opportunity we have in the P5/S3 beauty contest, based on how this season turns out. Even after the USM game, we are still ranked ahead of Boise State, Colorado St., SMU and USF and can pass Memphis. A strong performance this year could put us back on the P5/S3 radar, but of course it's all a big IF at this point.

AP and Coaches polls are out, and we got votes in both, for whatever that's worth. K-State stays at #25 in AP, moves to #20 in Coaches poll.

May have to do with TCU’s beat down of OU. If the Sooners are not what they supposed to be than that Kansas St win over OU will not look so good.

Jeffrey Johnson looked downright pedestrian in the earlier games from this season. I wonder how he would have played for us had he stayed?

Yep. Had he stayed here that would have been interesting. OU under achieving so far.
