Spread opens Tulane 33.5 pts. > Alcorn State, O/U 58.5 pts. https://www.vegasinsider.com/college-fo ... vs-tulane/
Alcorn State, 0-1, body of work to date:
1) 9/3 - Stephen F. Austin 31, Alcorn St. 27.

Even though Alcorn’s last opponent Stephen F. Austin is ranked no. 10 for the FCS poll, Saturday should be another “tune-up" game for the Wave in preparation for K-State.
Line Closing Tulane 35 pts. > Alcorn State

I noticed the Upper Deck was closed--and that there were plenty of open seats in the second deck.

Any 2021 average for the PAC12? I watched a quarter or two of a handful of their games, and there were open seats everywhere in each game. In one game, I noticed that UCLA had done a really good job of spreading the fans evenly throughout the stadium, but there were at least as many empty seats sprinkled between the attending fans. It appeared that about 50% of the capacity was actually being used.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 11:18 am Average 2021 NCAA football attendance was 39,848 ...this was a drop from 2019 which was 41,447...the record year was 2008 which had an average of 46,971

Almost makes Troy look like a genius. Not wasting money by over building a stadium as attendance keeps dropping all over college football!!! At its best a 35-45,000 seat stadium would be maximum needed Longterm. Still think doming Yulman would be a genius idea quiets noise for residents around the stadium. Would settle the gripe of indoor practice facility, not sure if it could handle basketball because seats are not movable. Needed parking garage expansion Claiborne maybe.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 12:41 pmAny 2021 average for the PAC12? Yes everyone should build 22,000 seat stadiums and skip building IPF's and football ops' buildings. Sheer genius. It's done wonders for Tulane.

Doming it would be interesting. However knowing Tulane it would likely come out looking like a circus tent since it would be the cheapest option. The cost would probably be in excess of $50 million to do anything with class. It would have to go above the lights.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 1:06 pmAlmost makes Troy look like a genius. Maybe a retractable roof might be a cheaper option integrate lighting with the roof, they should research it because they could expand seating capacity to at least 40,000, they still have the practice field area behind the Wilson center if not doming Yulman could they roof the practice field in combination with the Wilson Center. Utilize the whole area between Greer Field and Yulman!!!! I think they have more than one option.Show Me wrote: ↑Tue Sep 06, 2022 2:13 pmDoming it would be interesting. Expansion of Loyola and Dibol Parking Garages would be great if feasible or multilevel on Claiborne. Shuttle from Loyola Parking Garage is easy and short to the Yulman Stadium.

How does this pertain to the Alcorn state line ? You can discuss facilities and your displeasure with tulanes choices In any of the 20 other topics that it’s been discussed in.

Thank you as, meanwhile, it’s 1-0 Tulane vs. 0-1 Alcorn State.Bicoastalwave wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 6:02 am How does this pertain to the Alcorn state line ? You can discuss facilities and your displeasure with tulanes choices In any of the 20 other topics that it’s been discussed in.

It's probably not a coincidence that no Big 12 school will have less than a 40,000-seat stadium.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Wed Sep 07, 2022 2:13 amMaybe a retractable roof might be a cheaper option integrate lighting with the roof, they should research it because they could expand seating capacity to at least 40,000, they still have the practice field area behind the Wilson center if not doming Yulman could they roof the practice field in combination with the Wilson Center.
