Pratt under the radar

Let's enjoy our last season in D-1!!!
6-4-23: Now all of the mistakes Tulane has made finally catches up with them as they descend to CUSAAC. We can only hope for a miracle.

Only words most rating services see Pratt's weaknesses now and know that with a new coaching staff there will be open competition at all offensive positions, not for that to happen would be fool hardy as the new offense is installed. The competition started in the Spring Game and Ibieta will return in the fall. Pratt lost in the Spring Game throwing a poorly timed interception and still exhibited his happy feet instead of waiting for receivers to break open. His team got shutdown in the Spring Game. Competition will continue into the fall and don't give me the bs that Pratt played with the second team, wrong I was at the game and there was no lst team vs 2nd team as Coach Fritz has said. He would have moved a few players but the teams were divided by the coaching staff.winwave wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 1:58 pm He’s #1:

You are blind to the fact that I believe we have a 3 way competition and mentioned Ibieta is coming back from his injury, just handed off in the Spring Game.
Now moving forward no winning program focuses on one QB the way you guys focused on Pratt. Every year LSU has open competition with quarterbacks. Always open competition, makes each one better. You are so hard up for a savior you are blind to the other good quarterbacks that have come in Pratt was the lst but not the last, both Ibieta and Horton had better high school records than Pratt, now sit back and give all three a chance to work under the new system and may the best one win.

Pratt is the starting QB. Deal with it.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 5:27 pmYou are blind to the fact that I believe we have a 3 way competition and mentioned Ibieta is coming back from his injury, just handed off in the Spring Game.

Everything else you repeat is smoke. The HS BS is less important than how many cracks in the sidewalk he stepped on going to practice.

It is an open competition and Pratt will be the starting QB. In HS he left his HS and went to a school in the highest classification who had a returning starter at QB in his senior year. He won the job there. The kid is a good QB who plays behind a terrible OL just like all our other QB's have had to for the last 10 years or more.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 5:27 pmYou are blind to the fact that I believe we have a 3 way competition and mentioned Ibieta is coming back from his injury, just handed off in the Spring Game.

So Pathetic trying to make Pratt a God, his stats were not great in high school, no championships, recruited by Holy Cross, Brown, Bowling Green, Toledo, Buffalo, Columbia, Cornell, and Dartmonth, lol .84 rating by 247 recruiting lower than both Ibieta and Horton.winwave wrote: ↑Mon Jun 20, 2022 9:48 pmIt is an open competition and Pratt will be the starting QB. Greenie qb, cut Pratt some slack. I think most of us agree there should be open competition for the QB job but no need to denigrate the kid. He's had great games and his performance has fallen off. Most fair analysts would say some of that is due to the poor scheme he was in last year whereby there was no adjustment to get the ball out of his hand quicker with a struggling OL and some due to his indecision. It sure appeared his career was on an upward trend until that injury late in the Ole Miss game while down 40 points. He certainly became gunshy in the pocket after that. Now let's see if he can overcome that or if another QB emerges. My suspicion is that whoever is behind center will need significantly better protection than last year's group provided and the defense will need to play better so every game is not a shootout forcing dropbacks on every play.

Christ, I hope both Pratt and Horton are co winner of the heisman

That would be great, just getting tired of those that constantly are narrow minded as if Pratt goes we go. Not true, either of the 3 Quarterbacks are good enough to win championships and all three should get equal press and time. By push back if wanting to be fair to all three and quit focusing on one, that is not good for any team as Oklahoma found out hype does not translate into wins or performance, only words.Dave breslin wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:51 am Christ, I hope both Pratt and Horton are co winner of the heisman![]()
Wrong, no depth chart has been made this early in the game with a new coaching staff evaluating all positions. As of today we have no designated starter at quarterback. If you read about the Manning Academy they listed Pratt as potential starting quarterback for
Tulane some get it evidently you don't!!!
We all get it . You don't.

If you think the depth chart for QB isn't written, you are delusional. That could easily change with an injury and with this OL, it's a given. I think you need to make sure your boy can make 2nd string.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Tue Jun 21, 2022 1:38 pmWrong, no depth chart has been made this early in the game with a new coaching staff evaluating all positions.
