I suggest that Tulane re-brand itself as Tulane State U, it sounds more PEEish

I now have winwave on my "ignore" list and my gotula.net experience is much better for it. I highly recommend you all try it. If y'all could stop quoting him I wouldn't be subjected to him at all.

Click on your screen name, then User Control Panel. Click on the three parallel lines and a drop box with Board Preferences should appear. Click that, then the next drop box will have Manage Friends and Foes. Go there and choose your foe (or foes.) Good luck!

I started watching in 1985. So the winning teams I've seen pre-Fritz were 1987, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, and 2013.

I personally find the "Tulame" stuff insulting to anyone that has a Tulane degree. It takes it a step further than postings about the many failures of our Athletics Department. It does nothing but agitate those of us fortunate enough to have matriculated from the University.

We can all chuckle about getting "Tulane'd" because our sports teams invent ways to lose Hollywood couldn't fathom. But again, the "Tulame" stuff is best left off of this message board out of respect for those who actually went there.

What a great idea!

It would be the first and only thing the University has ever done to try to make it into a P.

He probably didn’t play for us because he didn’t have sufficient Fritz Tenure Time, like Merek Glover has had.

Eagle, if we had played defense for the first half of the schedule the Wave would have finished this season, a season with one of our tougher schedules, @ 6-6 or 7-5. Nothing to “write home about” but not the 3-9 or 2-10 disaster we are heading for after this Saturday.

And obviously, the mess for this season is all on coaching. For the Oklahoma game I still had no electricity from Hurricane Ida, & charged my cell phone from the car, but still followed in disbelief the second half of the OU game. During the game I received a couple of text messages from a cousin in Massachusetts saying “Roll Wave Roll,” and everyone in Boston was watching and pulling for Tulane.

After that Saturday, I never would have believed we would be 2-9 right now.
