I’m sending out a bat signal.
His information about the athletic department and their plans is always welcomed, especially at a time like this when there are so many questions

Mr. Slatten, can you give us an update? We appear to be doing nothing to position ourselves for conference realignment which appears to be very close to happening again. The silence is palpable. This is going on at the same time peer schools are announcing and making substantial strides towards change in their pursuit of a new conference. Any news would be greatly appreciated.
Just chill Mr. Slatten is behinds the scenes as things are rapidly moving, with our fans such vocal and attacking opinions things will always be kept secret it is their own fault. We are in the game big time and in a position the Power Conferences want us to be. Big 12, ACC or a Super Conference combo of Pac, AAC will happen sooner that later just keep your traps shut and wait!!!arkhou02 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2024 4:04 pm Mr. Slatten, can you give us an update? What would you expect to hear? We already know the IPF will be started after graduations end. If there are private conference negotiations going on, no one is likely to be leaking it to a public booster blog site.

Tulane is the University of Louisiana
Perhaps a little positive “unintentional leak” would light a fire for contributions.anEngineer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 2:41 am What would you expect to hear? It certainly would ignite a fire. But we will likely be the last to know.TURVS71 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 8:34 pmPerhaps a little positive “unintentional leak” would light a fire for contributions.anEngineer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 2:41 am What would you expect to hear? I thought the same thing today... even started to try and dig and find this same regurgitation kissing Dannen's ass right before he bolted.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 11:22 am gbg did you copy this from one of your pre-Dannen departure crystal ball rants?

Or even better, a full disclosure of what the grand plan is, why we need it, and what our ultimate conference goal is--that might trigger an avalanche of donations. People will be far more willing to donate for specific projects and goals than just some rumor driven vague hope that something good might happen someday.TURVS71 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 8:34 pmPerhaps a little positive “unintentional leak” would light a fire for contributions.anEngineer wrote: ↑Tue Apr 16, 2024 2:41 am What would you expect to hear? That plan will eventually get us caught up to where our competition was when it was announced. Already the competition has stepped up and we'll be playing catch-up not only before the "Always the Audacious" plan is completed, but even before it's put shovels in the ground.Greeniegb wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 12:26 pmThis is the Plan:HoustonWave wrote: ↑Wed Apr 17, 2024 11:00 amOr even better, a full disclosure of what the grand plan is, why we need it, and what our ultimate conference goal is--that might trigger an avalanche of donations. That's what folks refer to when we say "same old Tulane." We are constantly trying to catch up rather than getting ahead of the curve. We're over 15 months past the Cotton Bowl and most of "Tulane Nation" is wondering what happened to the Cotton Bowl dividend. Dannen and krewe were not ready for the success of the 2022 team and we haven't taken full advantage of the opportunity presented. By the time they get around to upgrading Yulman with a second deck on the NIMBY side, it will be too late.
Winning and getting into the playoff a couple of times is the only thing that can save us, IMHO. This admin is not moving nearly fast enough to ever get ahead. The sense of urgency has been missing since the 1960s. We need about a dozen more Steve Slatten's to light a fire under the BOA. The forces behind Cowen's disastrous "Review" have kept us from moving at the speed needed, and the sense of urgency required is still missing.

That is correct except the only dividends went to Dannen and Fritz as both made it to the Power conferences while the school has sit back and done absolutely nothing. That Performance Plan was developed by Dannen 4 to 5 years ago but he did little to fund it.DfromCT wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 11:01 amThat plan will eventually get us caught up to where our competition was when it was announced. Scott Slatten. Not sure who Steve Slatten is.
Although we could probably use both

You are right, Fritz and Dannen got the dividends that were generated by Nick Anderson, Dorian Williams, Pratt, Sincere & Co. Their leadership and absolute commitment to turning around a 2-12 season made Dannen and Fritz a lot of money.
