We will learn what kind of a team we have & where this season is truly headed this coming Saturday against a decent UAB team.
Line Closes Tulane 2.5 pts. > UAB
Line now Wave 4 pts. > UAB, O/U 56.5 pts.
Cheer-up Wave fans, WF teams are “too legit to quit.” Beat UAB and then AAC here we come, & there is not an AAC team we can’t beat. For UCF, it is unfortunate what happened to Dillon Gabriel, but those are the breaks of the game (no pun intended). And, Cincy @ Yulman on 10/30, the day before Halloween, should be one of our biggest games in quite some time.

+1, UAB is now a very critical game for the season. How WF and the team responds to the Ole Miss debacle will tell us a lot about both them & where this season is headed. I just don’t see these guys giving up on the season and expect a really big effort on Saturday against UAB to put Ole Miss behind us
We need to make UAB pay for that poor performance.

But,"un-bunch your panties girls," these clowns also had ULALA routing us in the 2018 Cure Bowl.
And yes, Vegas Insider now has the spread @ 4 pts., O/U 57.5 pts.

Apparently, after our having been routed at Oxford and the Oklahoma game "aura" now dissipated, the more complete ESPN analytics presently project a very close game.
This is a very big game for the 2021 season, I hope Michael Pratt is healthy and ready to play.

If there is a 3 pt. advantage allowed for the home team, the most recent point spreads of 3.5-4.0 favoring Tulane actually mean we are a 1 point (or less) favorite. Anyone who believes this game will be a cakewalk should not make large wagers. Your financial recklessness may cause your children/grandchildren to be forced to attend *gasp* ULL.

If I were a betting person, I would easily lay the points. Ole Miss is good. Very good. Lane Kiffen may be a classless jerk, but he is one of the very upper echelon coaches in college football. We are still a darned good team with quality players and quality coaches. The only good news out of last Saturday is that it doesn't appear that anyone was hurt. I think we can score on anyone and the defense should not be judged by that Ole Miss offense.
You are correct GL, on a neutral field this game might now well be "pick-it." And, UAB had its own "blow-out" loss by 49 pts. on 9/11 to Georgia for the score 56 to 7. So, the line makes sense, fingers crossed on this one.
