A lot of them were early on in that OU, IIRC. Really changed the momentum a few times.

Today's threads:

I like this look. Would have preferred the Angry Wave on the helmet but I get it for this game.

Man, this is a HUGE game for Tulane, I'm so pumped up, and was going to have to watch it on the DVR about 2.5 hours later, but my ex canceled plans for us to go to the Mets with the boys. It would have been their first trip to a big-league game. Instead, they're coming over for a watch party.

I have that sinking feeling about Lucy pulling the ball away again. Hope to hell I'm wrong. I've been Tulane'd too many times, suffer from PTSD with this team. There you go, winwave, you've been trying to psychoanalyze me for years!

Let's hope I'm not on the shrink's couch again tomorrow.
Roll effing Wave!

Just saw that Oklahoma struggled to beat Nebraska, 23-16. Nebraska now 2-2, having also lost to Illinois, who's only 1-3. Beginning to think Oklahoma is overhyped as usual, and quite possibly Ole Miss IS better than OU.

Well we have talked the talk. Now it's time to walk the walk. Is OU overrated? Were they not up for us? Did they let up after getting the big lead in the second quarter? Or are we a quality football team that played a good game against a legit top 10 team?

They have a coach that many consider the best play caller in the game. We have a highly regarded play caller too. They have a QB that is a Heisman hopeful. One who excites his team with his intensity. We have a QB coming off of a Freshman All-American season who is showing even more improvement in his second year who fires his team up with his intensity. Both teams have playmakers. Both have improved defenses. It comes down to line play. Can our O-line give Pratt some time and a little daylight for our backs? Can our D- Line get some pressure on Corral? Will Lucy pull the ball away yet again? Or has she been kidnapped?

This game is important to this season. it is also very important to not only our football future but our athletics future. Winning is the only option. Lucy has been kidnapped. Ole Miss is desperately trying to raise the ransom money thru a gofundme account. Tulane is hacking that account. The answer awaits tonight. Looking forward to celebrating.

Is this an important game for the future of Tulane football? You need look no further than the participation in this forum. At the end of a typical season when Tulane is playing for a .500 record and a spot in the Goober Bowl, you’ll find your usual 10-15 hard-core regulars posting on this site. This week, you can sense the difference.

I’m afraid to get too excited.

Ibieta is ruled out of the game with shoulder injury, if Pratt goes down guess we have to see what Kai can do? Try keeping Pratt healthy last week and lose the backup figures!!!
