I don’t think it’s possible for us to replace Jeffrey Johnson’s size and athleticism, but this guy has produced at Memphis !

Thanks for the news Bi. Nice to get good news. You might want to change the title of the thread though as this isn't a replacement for JJ. He's an end:

YOU NEED LEVERAGE TO BE PROACTIVE!
Small time facilities for small time programs
6-4-23:Now all of the mistakes Tulane has made finally catches up with them as they descend to CUSAAC.

While I like getting the transfer, I prefer the days when it was frowned upon to transfer within your conference. No one should benefit from that degree of familiarity.

Apparently people expected him to transfer into the P5, so that’s nice people thought so highly of him. Yeah he scored some touchdowns (caugh a pass ?) on offense as well. I read a scouting report that thinks he could play in the NFL as a fullback.

Fullback in the NFL is a dying breed. That said, I hope we use his skills on both sides of the ball. Cam Carroll has done a good job with the short yardage role, but this guy could be another dimension, literally, for that specialty.Bicoastalwave wrote: ↑Fri May 14, 2021 1:06 pm Apparently people expected him to transfer into the P5, so that’s nice people thought so highly of him. nice article about dorecous, with an awsome clip of him playing fullback and keeping up sprinting speed with memphis running back henderson.
They also meniton - " The 6-foot, 277-pound Dorceus was named as an honorable mention on the 2019 All AAC team and has started in each of the last two seasons. His 35 tackles for a loss rank eighth all time in Memphis school history. "
Not too shabby

For a guy that big to run that fast....amazing. We got to use this guy wherever we can! I wonder what it would be like to watch a DB try to tackle him in the open field? Or how effective he could be as a stand-up LB in short yardage focussed on the RB likely to get the ball? With that size and speed, he can attack from either side of the ball.Bicoastalwave wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 11:18 am https://www.underdogdynasty.com/2021/5/ ... fer-portal

FWIW : Against us last November he had One Solo Tackle , a shared tackle and no carries .
President Fitts , B of A , it's put up or forever hold your peace time . Make Tulane ATHLETICS relevant and top 30 again .
