Im pretty sure coach hunter shouting and coaching his players is worth Atleast 6 points a game for the team if not far more.

Temple was picked 10th in the league. The article says we are favored by one but other places have Temple favored by one :

Temple is a bad team and we are at home. If the program is making any progress it wins this game.

This is just sickening to watch. It's 5 players on the floor just running around. Do they even work on offense at practice?

That performance was absolutely pathetic. We looked like a pee wee basketball team. On offense Tulane was throwing up shots almost immediately with almost no passing, no movement, no picks, no penetration to the basket, etc. Basically no nothing. That was shameful.

Looks like they got it right since we were picked last.

Now we know why we got these transfers. They couldn't make it on the team that they left. They can't shoot at all and don't play the rest of the game with any style at all. Hunter would do well to ditch all these transfers and try to recruit some real players. Boy, DO THEY STINK!!!! :? :? :?

We could have had a coach who won championships at three different conferences including an SEC championship. He brought numerous teams to the big dance and two Sweet Sixteens. He is a prolific recruiter, and he is an incredible christian role model. AND he happens to be from New Orleans and has tremendous local following (attendance). HE WANTED THE JOB and circumstances made him affordable.

But at lease we have a coach who might get a gig on Saturday Night Live.

You blew it again, Troy!!”

Who is this mystery coach? Why do I think there could be issues with him you're not mentioning?

Hunter has a very good resume.

Is the mystery coach Avery Johnson? Dunleavy left a mess like Bobby Buffet did with football, its going to take time and some players unfortunately

We all understand what a mess was left in this program after 20 years of absolute trash. While the full story on Coach Hunter is far from being determined, his philosophy of being unconcerned with offense has become an obvious hindrance to winning games. It really is 5 guys just running around, taking turns shooting. There is no offensive rebounding, because the focus is in getting back on defense. Regardless of the past condition of the program, you would think we would see an attempt to run an organized offense; it's how you score enough points to win.

I questioned his hire because recruits don’t want to go to a place that stresses defense over offense. Most of the stars in HS are the scorers.
