We were missing too many guys today on both sides of the ball. We need to find some receivers and defensive backs by next summer and hopefully we have better success out of the transfer portal.
Disappointing performance.

Our recruiting has been better. Guys were injured as well especially in the secondary. This game doesn’t reflect any of your concerns.

I agree. Give him a few bowl snaps.JerseyWave wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 5:45 pm Should put Ibieta in the game for the final four minutes. Pratt has taken a beating this second half.
Keep Pratt from going to the emergency ward.

I’m not sure if Long called any plays today.

A pitiful performance by the whole team, including the coaches. Looks like we may need a grad transfer @ QB,
who knows when to throw ball and where to throw it. #7 wonder boy looked like a true freshman who didn't know what was going on most of the time. #36 got beat again for a TD, but, what's new. We have no pass defense at all and it showed today. How can a team stink up the field so bad and then expect any fan support at all? We can all be thankful that this season is over. In my opinion, the QB position for next year, just became "up for grabs".

He made a few mistakes, sure, but 2 of our OL starters didn't play and then we lost 2 more to injuries during the game. I don't care who you are at QB, if your OL can't block then you're going to be toast.51WaveBG wrote: ↑Tue Dec 22, 2020 6:05 pm A pitiful performance by the whole team, including the coaches. Leading up to the game WF said Long was calling the plays. There was an article on it that was posted on this site where Long talked about being excited to call plays again.

A lot of overreaction from a bowl game in Idaho. New coordinators, opt outs. I was hoping for a win but didn’t expect it. The game was for the taking until Pratt’s horrible 3rd interception. It was pretty much over after that.
+1, just on December 5th we beat Memphis for our second win in the last 3 times we have played them. Pratt has a ways to go but even Patrick Mahomes would have gotten killed today once Claybrook went out of the game.
