Oh God no, USA Today Sports is again projecting us for the Frisco Bowl but at least we would be playing La. Tech, and we will win that game. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb ... cid=msnews

🤔Instead, let's win the next 2 games and step up the AAC Bowl ladder to a decent bowl game?

We can take care of that by beating Tulsa and get that NYE Bowl they are picked for there.

The Frisco Bowl (Metro Dallas) is played at Toyota Stadium, a 20,000 seat soccer stadium. Frisco is really just another Cure Bowl. If we lose on Thursday we just might end up there, so let's not lose on Thursday.

Tulane v. Thomas Jefferson's University of Virginia would be great, 2 top flight universities. We last played Virgina 51 years ago in 1969 winning @ New Orleans 31-0. http://www.winsipedia.com/tulane/vs/virgini

I'd like to see us play both of these games since we only have 11 games! The game versus Charlotte would REEK of a typical AAC letdown loss in a bowl game. We need to beat Tulsa.

Well, let's hope it's a reasonable driving distance because many will not fly!

Get the record to six wins, and then we can guess where Tulane will go bowling. Question: Is there a bowl game in Mobile, Alabama this year or not?

We are already Bowl eligible. There is no win requirement this year. Obviously that could work against us as P5's with a losing record could nab spots. Then there's the fact that some Bowls have already cancelled and there could be more especially with the rising numbers. All the more reason why it's so important to win the next two.

Unless I am very much mistaken I do believe the NCAA waived the 6 win requirement this year

At 6-5 we'd be an iffy selection if bowl games are cancelled. At 5-6 we have zero shot. At 7-4 we're bowling, though it still could be a nobodycares.com type bowl. We don't bring ratings and we can only get to .500 in the conference by winning the last two. Beat Tulsa and we're alive for a bowl game. Lose two games and we're home for the holidays.

Some Bowl clarity:

https://www.nola.com/sports/tulane/arti ... 33565.html

As of now all the Bowls with AAC tie-ins are on. If that holds we should get in with one more win and maybe even without. Obviously would much prefer it to be with 2 more wins.
