That is very good to hear--now if we can just fix the coaching situation, the facilities, and the west side of Yulman.winwave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 5:52 pmTimes have changed. Been a long time since we lost somebody to academics. That coincides with the new majors that were put in and that many of our athletes are taking.Eaglewave wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 5:12 pmDon’t underrate staying academically eligible at Tulane compared to other universities. Facility requires donors. Donors are tapped out or need to be inspired and new donors added to the mix. That happens by winning and adding fans and buzz. Which also happens by winning. But winning happens with facilities. Chicken or the egg.
Our basketball progam will make forward progress- The pieces (coach, location, conference) in place would Indicate that our on court results and reputation of our program will improve.

It's not chicken or egg. It is the AD's job to know what the program needs. He then needs to sell his vision to the donors and get them to give. It is clear that our facilities lack. Hunter just said that in an interview where he said zoom recruiting benefited us because he doesn't have to compete against other teams facilities.Bicoastalwave wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 3:43 pm Facility requires donors. Lets address the football stadium fiasco...Dome the damn thing with an inflatable roof like the one used at the metro dome...it can be desiged to actullay open if needed..this will also serve as the indoor practice facility and allow the west side to be expaned upwards, since it is "closed'...expand Fogelman into McAllister Dr to add ..where the "short" practice fiield is located, add a "second story" for football offices or meeting rooms...leave the playing surface below for practice, winwave wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 5:31 pmIt's not chicken or egg. Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
