Good old Eddie Price! Several years later I would ride my Schwinn Stingray over to his establishment (now The Boot), give a Tulane student a dollar to buy a quart of Budweiser (it cost seventy-six cents and he got to keep the change), and play the "Biffs" (old-school pinball machines with no flippers that you gambled on.) If I won, I would find another student to cash in for me as I was only twelve or thirteen at the time.

ETA I know, I made this story all about me. Feel free to beat me up for it.
God Bless Everyone!

I was present at all of the TU home games in TU Stadium in 1948, 1949 & 1950. Wonderful memories!
I was also present in Miami and witnessed the infamous "5th down play". Roll Wave!
