It was our fifth straight record breaking day for heat with no wind at all. Most brutal heat for a spring game that I remember.

In early kicking drills Merek Glover continued being consistent from inside 40. He then backed up and was 4 of 6 on kicks between 45-50 yards. Very encouraging.

Ryan Wright was much more consistent with long kicks that had plenty of hang time. None were shorter than 45 yards. Mykel Jones, Amare Jones and Jha'quan Jackson took turns fielding the kicks

It was ones v. ones to start: From left to right the O-Line was Claybrook, Dublin, Haynesworth, Knutson and Jackel. James was at TE. M.Jones, Phatt Watts and Jackson were the WR's. Howard was at QB. Dauphine was at RB.

The D was Sample, Williams, Jeffrey Johnson and Hatcher on the line. P. Johnson is still out while he continues his recovery. The LB's were Moody and Henry. At CB it was Monroe and Langham. Safeties were Brooks and Clark with Vault at NB.

Starting at the north end 30 going south Howard faked a handoff to Dauphine and hit Jackson 40 yards downfield and he then beat the DB's to the end zone. Beautiful pass that hit him in stride. Willie had them go again from the same starting spot. Dauphine carried on the right side for 2. Spears came in and took a pitch out to the left and gained 6.Carroll then came in and bulldozed for 3 yards for the first. Carroll carried again for 4 to the left side. Howard was under immediate pressure but calmly slid up in the pocket to hit James up the seam for 15. On first down he hit Dauphine in the left flat for a gain of 11. On the next ply he was sacked by Hatcher who easily beat Jackel for a loss of 5. Howard hit James for 7 . Under pressure from Sample Howard scrambled for 2 yards. Glover then made a 42 yarder with room to spare from the left hash.

The 2's were: Hogan, Remondet, Lewerenz, Oldner and Shafter. Keshon Williams was the TE. Brown, Daniels and Robertson were the WR's. Pratt at QB. Spears at RB. The D was: Dixon, Wright, Hicks and Thomas. LB's were Anderson and Dorian Williams. At CB were Harrison and Joyce. The safeties were Judson and Ball. The NB was Clark.

Spears carried to the left side for 12 yards with the offense starting at the south 30 going north. Pratt then dropped back and hit Williams for 18 up the seam on the right side. Very quick release with a lot on the throw. Spears to the right for 3. Carroll to the left for 3 more. Dixon then sacked Pratt for a loss of 8. Wright punted to the coffin corner on the right side. It went out at the 1.

The ones came back out form the north 30 going south. Dauphine carried up the middle for 5. Howard then hit Amare Jones in the right flat and he took it up the sideline for 20 yards. Dauphine was stuffed at the line on the right side. Howard then threw a beautiful pass to Jackson for 35 yards but it was negated by a holding penalty on Jackel. He then threw incomplete to Watts on the right . On third and twenty Howard hit M.Jones for 15 on the left side. Wright punted and it was fair caught at the 10.

The two's came back out starting at the south 30 going north. Spears carried for 4 to the left. Pratt then trusted his arm too much and tried to squeeze a throw down the middle to a well covered Robertson and it was picked off by Judson.

The ones came back starting again at the north 30 going south. Howard hit James for 5 on the right sideline. He then hit Watts for 10 to the right. Dauphine carried for 6 to the left. Spears then carried for 12 to the left side. Spears carried again for two up the gut. Howard had to scramble under pressure up the middle from J. Johnson and he got 8 yards. Howards missed M. Jones on the right about 15 yards downfield. He was then sacked by Sample for a loss of 5. Langham then almost intercepted a pass near the right sideline to James but he couldn't gain control before going out of bounds. Glover made a 49 yarder from the left hash.

The two's came back out . Carrol carried for 8 to the right. He then gained 4 up the middle. Dorian Williams then sacked Pratt for a loss of 5. Pratt then hit Spears to the right for a gain of 20. On a jet sweep A. Jones gained 11. Huderson carried for 5. Harrison then picked off a pass in the end zone intended for Williams. That ended the scrimmage.

Howard looked sharp. The O-Line continues to have it's issues. Glover and Wright looked really good. Looking forward to the season.

Great report, win! This is the best (fake) news I've read or heard in a long time!

I have reported winwave's game analysis to the coaching staff. I'm sure they'll agree that it contains such in-depth information that it could be used to scheme against us by this year's opponents.

What was the final score though?
Honestly WinWave, you can make up a story better even then Carlos Castaneda.

I went to the spring game 2 years ago. They did not keep score. It was not like they had two distinct teams, like many other programs do. They didn't tackle, either.
