RobertM320 wrote: Sun Aug 02, 2020 12:24 pm And greenie78, you'll notice I said its recommended NOT to use it on critically ill patients. But there's a difference between hospitalized and critically ill. And you are correct, most people not in the hospital don't need treatments. But what about those that do? Should we just ignore something that may work for a certain segment of the population, just because we feel "Orange Man Bad". I mean, come on, people, wake up. Since when did we get to the point where we're not willing to TRY and save people's lives? There's enough evidence from enough doctors worldwide that show HCQ can be helpful. To ignore that just because you hate Trump is willful ignorance, and its causing people to die.
I don’t hate Trump. I’m a practicing physician in a clinic, hospital, nursing homes, and other places and if a patient calls me and is sick with the COVID, I will put them a steroid and tell them to take Vitamin D, Vitamin C. and zinc. If they’re having worse symptoms like coughing or wheezing, I will add antibiotics. I tried hydroxychlroquine back in April when steroids weren’t recommended and it didn’t do much. Steroids work better because they do reduce the inflammation.

Enough of these medicinal cures for covid19 as a 65 year old Senior Olympian and runner for years I have replaced pain medications with Turmeric a natural herb that fights inflammation and pain, My doctor who believes in natural cures has endorsed this versus pain meds. Another benefit of turmeric is its anti-viral properties. Well now it is linked to studies against covid19 such as this. Another reason is it prevents blood clotting associated with covid19. Of course big pharma would not make money if this is successful.

Thanks for the heads up on Turmeric, gb. My aching knees and joints could use something--as I won't use any painkillers. Is Turmeric compatible with prescribed blood thinners?

GL and GPS, you are on a roll. Between the "snorting HCQ" and Tanner Lee...you've made me laugh twice in a minute. Thanks.

Because Turmeric is an anti inflammatory it does thin blood, so check with doctor it could replace some medicinal blood thinners with greater benefit.

Turmeric in a dry form can also be used to whiten your teeth. I use it to brush my teeth every morning. Similar to what she does here:

And that Bill Gates....plans for any vaccine to contain computer chips so we can be tracked and followed. It's all part of his plans for globalism and strategy to reduce the world's population and promote one world monetary system. And Hillary's emails...and Banks was in....etc., etc. etc..... :headbash:

ShowMe, if you had read the entire article you would have seen this a couple paragraphs down:
There is no evidence that Fauci is personally financially invested in a coronavirus vaccine, and scientists still don’t know if hydroxychloroquine is effective in treating COVID-19.

That's embarrassing. Show Me must have slept through English 101 or HCQ possibly has a side effect of diminishing people's mental capcity.
