We've had success against a soft non-conference schedule and AAC play begins later this month. How many conference games do you think Tulane will win?

I predict four conference wins. What say you?
  • ECU and UCF at home;
  • 2 wins against better teams when the 3s are falling: Tulsa and SMU

I say 5-6. I'm expecting the team to keep getting better.

Edit: to clarify, I was saying 5 to 6 conference wins in 18 conference games.

I think 4-14. Add that to a 10-2 OOC that gets you to 14-16 pre conf tournament.

Akron is pretty damned good. They're 5-2 with their two losses being AT WVU by 10 and AT Louisville by 6. St. Louis is not the only decent team we play in OOC schedule.

The real season starts next Monday night at Memphis. Man up and post your conference W-L prediction below.

I’ll cheat by saying close to .500 (maybe slightly below maybe slightly above)

Why not just predict "more than last season?"

:mrgreen:

Close to .500 should earn Coach Hunter coach of the year honors. I hope you're right.

Merry Christmas, Bicoastalwave!

I'm going with 7. But losing those 2 close games concerns. We'll need to win those to hit 7.

I went with the 7-8 win category. The conference is down so what the hell. Unfortunately I know I'll draw the ire of RH . May he prove us all wrong. Let's Roll!
