So where is the 42 points you said Tulane would score and called me an idiot when I disagreed? Whose the real idiot now, dipsh-t?
We can run the ball down their throats and won’t have to pass against that level of competition.oliveandblue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:05 pm We'll wind up getting a CUSA or Sun Belt team in a bowl game. I like our odds against those types of teams....
After further review Glover touched the ball first. Almost pulled it off.
Yes, there's no doubt the QB.is a very important position. But without great play from primary positions it doesn't matter who your QB is. The GOAT, Tom Brady looks ordinary when placed under pressure.oliveandblue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 1:58 pm There are two good freshmen coming in. They should be groomed to play for four years.
Need to stop looking for quick fixes at the most important position.
No doubt. He had a good series and gets us a Touchdown and then disappears from the offense. Beyond frustrating.HoustonWave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 2:08 pm This game has removed any doubt that we have grotesquely underused Dauphine for two straight years.
Yep. We need a change at DC.
McM plays with this Joe Cool persona--maybe too much so. He's lauded for being "in control" and calm, but at the same time there almost seems to be a lack of effort. It might help if he acted like he still had the ball after he hands it off, but what do the coaches say?winwave wrote: ↑Sat Nov 23, 2019 3:59 pm What was the deal with McMillan today? He has been lauded for his ball handling. Yet today he would just straight up hand off and just stand there watching the play making no attempt to create confusion as to who had the ball. It was Senior Day and we had a lot to play for and he does that. Piss poor.
As to the D early on we were in position to make some tackles that would have stopped drives and just whiffed. We got lucky with several drops or the score would have been a lot worse.
As to ST's our punter showed up again after being missing since the second game and we had the TD return to keep us in it. Good job for the most part.
As to the coaching it's been disappointing to see our lack of attention to detail. That's one thing WF has stressed and we have failed miserably at this season.
SMU is beatable. Let's end on a positive note.
