Spread opens Wave 10 pts. > Tulsa (Rotation nos. 377-378 for Vegas sheet)
https://www.vegasinsider.com/college-fo ... las-vegas/
O/U 63 pts.
Tulsa, 2-6, 0-4 AAC, “body of work” to date:
8/30 - Michigan St. 28, Tulsa 7;
9/7 – Tulsa 34, San Jose St. 16;
9/14 – Oklahoma St. 40, Tulsa 21;
9/21 - Tulsa 24, Wyoming 21;
10/5 - SMU 43, Tulsa 37 (3OT);
10/12 - Navy 45, Tulsa 17;
10/19 - Cincinnati 24, Tulsa 13;
1o/26 - Memphis 42, Tulsa 41.
Through October 26th, Sagarin now has the Wave ranked 54, Tulsa 84 (AAC: UCF 19, Cincy 26, Memphis 31, SMU 33, Navy 38, Tulane 54, Houston 64, Tulsa 84 & Temple 85 ) https://www.usatoday.com/sports/ncaaf/sagarin/. For Sagarin’s rating system the Wave playing at home is a 9.93 pt. favorite over the Golden Hurricanes. This team appears to be better than its record but if we actually play a full 4 quarters, and I think we will, we should win this one for homecoming. And, notice how close Sagarin is to the Vegas spread?

We should be able to run all over Tulsa regardless of who’s back there...but, I sure would like to see Bradwell and Dauphine.

I'm not a betting man and I wouldn't read much into their Memphis game. Plenty of undefeated/1-2 loss team lay eggs against lesser teams. Memphis managed to hang in there and scrape a W out, which is what really defines a great team IMO. Obviously we've got things to work on, but Tulsa shouldn't be the do or die battle SMU and UCF seem to be.
Memphis won becaue the Tulsa place kicker missed a 25 yard FG as time expired or Tulsa would have had the W...Tulsa has been compettive in most of their games, this will not be an easy W for Tulane...and with Tulanes secondary, this could be a long azz afternoon in NIMBYvillesquilz wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 3:02 pm I'm not a betting man and I wouldn't read much into their Memphis game. What makes you think we'll play a good 4 quarters? We have yet to do so this year, not even close. When we do, we'll blow somebody out, but thus far it's been some ugly play mixed in with some very good play.Wave755 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 2:20 pm Spread opens Wave 10 pts. > Tulsa (Rotation nos. 377-378 for Vegas sheet)

Because i think this team will be as mad as Hell for homecoming, that's why! We screwed ourselves for Navy, and as was expected, so did the refs!DfromCT wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:38 pmWhat makes you think we'll play a good 4 quarters? You know Tulsa is looking at this as a winnable game, after their last four weeks. SMU, Navy, Cincinnati, Memphis is no cakewalk, and the only one they got blown out in was Memphis. Took SMU to OT and should have beaten Memphis.

Nope, we were still in a funk, at least for the first half. And, I am sure we can't wait to get back to Yulman.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 28, 2019 8:23 amI thought Tulane was suppose to be mad as hell, after the Memphis azz kickin'Wave755 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 4:54 pmBecause i think this team will be as mad as Hell for homecoming, that's why! Line is tweaked up to Wave 10.5 pts. > Tulsa. Let's hope Vegas knows what it is talking about for this game. We are tough as nails at home and are 4-0 at Yulman this season and going back to last year have now won our last six home games.
And, I know LSU & 'Bama have a bye week, but if they played this Saturday Sagarin would have 'Bama a 7.1 pt. favorite over 'dem Tigggers. The Sagarin numbers will change a bit after Saturday, but 'Bama by 7 seems to be about right to me. The Saturday after next, November 9, will belong to LSU v. "Bama even if we did play, but we will instead have a bye next week.
So, both the Saints & LSWho have bye weeks, and other than Rummel v. Curtis on Friday, we are it for Louisiana (even La. Tech has a bye, and no one cares about ULALA playing 'Mighty Texas St. of the 'belt).
I am looking forward to a performance from the Wave like for the FIU game to begin this season, this Saturday should belong to Tulane for homecoming.
