FearTheWave provides great information. Wish he posted more frequently on this site.

Hoping we are able to sign Pig Cage because...well, just because.

I'm curious, is all HS football played on Friday nights in Louisiana? Up here most games are Friday nights, but some are Saturdays, including some on Saturday mornings.

I've got a hockey tournament to referee, but fortunately my last (of 3) games will end about an hour before kickoff this evening.

Has TU lost to a FCS team in the Fritz era?

Which is amazing, but true.

Tulane’s opponent looks like a beer league football team.

They keep trying to hit mcclesky deep and it was picked off once and almost picked off again. We do need to get him involved. This is essentially a scrimmage to work out kinks and get reps in on the new offense. Hopefully it will pay dividends vs houston

I really do feel bad for Our opponent , it’s like the Washington generals vs the globetrotters.

If we’re gonna schedule FCS games, it should be regional teams.

The announcers with some cringeworthy commentary. When we were singing our fight song after the last TD they asked if we were doing “ The Who Dats” and the other announcer chuckled and said yeah.

Or really good ones. NDSU has a winning record versus ranked FBS teams.

They were previously known as SW Missouri State.

Glad to see Keon Howard in the game.

Truthfully I don’t mind this kind of game with a huge game in 5 days. The starters got a half in of game action and now the backups get action. Our season basically starts Thursday night.

I can see your point. But if we're going to do that, let's stay with local teams that will bring fans. Southern, Grambling, Southeastern, Northwestern, Nicholls St, etc. LOL, I guess that was your ORIGINAL point of your post. Sorry!

We have some very talented young players getting PT tonight that will probably redshirt. Spears looks good. Our D is very deep.

And yes, our season really starts Thursday night. I think Coach Hall called a very vanilla game tonight not showing Houston much.

And that’s what you’re supposed to do to teams like this.

I'd say we're in good hands going forward as far as RB depth goes. Cam Carroll and Ygenio Booker are both RS FR, and Spears is a true freshman. Its going to be a tough having to RS him, but they probably will. I think he played against FIU as well.

Also, we only had 4 penalties for 40 yards, but it sure seemed like the officials were letting them play. I thought we could have gotten called for a block in the back several times.
