That's right. In a nod to our East Coast fans it's midnight. Plus as AA said it's less than 24 hours to kick-off. The season we've been anxiously awaiting is here.

Like a box of chocolates, you never know what you have. We get to see what's inside the box TODAY! :D :D :D

Great article. Thanks for the link, win.

If we utilize the short passing game in addition to a dominant running game, I can see us getting 60-65% completion rate That could be deadly. That's the scenario for a Wave blowout. 50% completion rate and we're HOPEFULLY still in a last score wins scenario.

I'm so f-ing psyched for the game.

ROLL WAVE!

This a a great article by Jeff Duncan on Patrick Johnson in The Athletic:

It's behind a paywall. It's $5 a month and worth it to follow your favorite teams. Use the free trial if nothing else.

When I went to join, the 60% discount made it $2.99/mo. So it cost me an extra $12. I still bought!

It's game day, baby. Let's play some ball.

I don't know about the rest of y'all, but I rarely can sleep a good solid 8 hours straight. Happens as you get older!

But it's game day today.

Bobby Hebert and Guerry Smith on Sports Talk. Best line of interview: Bobby asked about Morgan, the highly touted QB from FIU to which Guerry Smith replied: "all quarterbacks are good until they get hit a lot". Sounds like he is expecting a good defensive effort from the Wave.

This is worth listening to hype tonight's game:

Last week, there were some murmurs about Patrick Johnson being a little banged up. Do we know that he and the rest of the defense are fully healthy?

What is the best way to pick up the game on the tube? I am not a subscriber to any streaming services that carry ESPN 3and it appears that my subscription to Tulane All Access will only carry the audio. I am very rarely watch television and am not up to date on my options.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Really nervous about this game. I think our secondary will struggle this year and it will take a few games for our Oline to gel. I think they will be ready to stuff the run tonight so we’ll have to throw a lot. I expect a shootout.

Unfortunately streaming ESPN3 is your only option. If you have a friend or relative that is a subscriber you may ask to borrow their login credentials other than that there’s probably no other way to view it on the tube.

Thanks for the link. Great interview.

Their QB was sacked something like 8 times in 12 games last year. He gets the ball out quickly. I have to say their QB is a more proven asset than McM, who was very pedestrian, at best last year.

The under/over in my book is 1 for Tulane sacking their QB, unless the starter gets hurt.

Game Day, bitches!

I'll be out there in an hour or so looking to mooch a ticket off someone!

I'll be toting a flask (or two) of Tullamore Dew.

Help! This game is supposed to be on ESPN3 but I just checked their schedule and do not see the game listed. How, where, to watch
or listen to the game which starts at 5pm here. Thanks.
