These people must be joking. Dont they realize they're playing Tulane? First game starts at 4pm, second at 6:30? We'll be lucky to be finished 5 innings by 6:30.

As usual, playing Houston late in the season will result in rain-delayed games, which will result in screwing up our pitching rotation for the AAC Tournament.

Then just use them for a couple innings next weekend. The games don’t really matter.

Gozzo thrown out at third for the second out. Normally not a bad risk but Kody was coming up with what have been 1st and 2nd with one out.

Well then a caught stealing at 2nd with Kody up. Ends the inning. Two base running outs with ur golden spikes hitter coming up/hitting. Idk what to think.

Maybe we just need to go back to the old days. Let the starting pitcher throw 9 innings no matter what. Can't do any worse than the bullpen. Once again, a 7-7 game, bottom of the 8th, and the pen gives up 5 runs. 12-7 Htn, going to the 9th.

Again, a late inning implosion by this team. I fully understand “pitching” but this is not acceptable any time but especially at this point in the season and at this point in Jewitt’s tenure. Little or no progress late in Year 3 speaks loudly.

Unfortunately this may be the kind of collapse needed to make a coaching change.

Our pitching rotation doesn’t matter—they’re all pretty bad.

Just two more examples of our primo coaching.

You forgot to mention the piss poor job the pitching coach is doing . The "JOB ONE " is pitching . He is the one who has to face the facts and admit he is not up to the job . He is WAY over his head .

They didn’t secure 2nd place. And 2nd place doesn’t mean much. We’re going to be sitting at home again during Regionals.
The goal is to make it to the NCAA Regionals, nobody gives a shit about 2nd place in the conference.

“It’s about the NCAA’s” is spot on!
Second Place gets you nothing here!
A change is in order.

I can’t get ecstatic about a win that means so little.
We’re 29-21, RPI of 89. Our next meaningful game is in Clearwater for the AAC Tournament. No win before then is worth celebrating. You can choose to celebrate them if you want, but I won’t get too excited.
