Think about this two distinct different pitching staffs LSU and our Green Wave.
LSU staff main issues has been healthy arms. Why they throw hard and follow through. Our Green Waves problem has not been sore arms but control problems. As a former pitcher and bowler this reflects on the issue. In both sports you have a target and must follow through aiming at the target. If you pull up short you lose the target and become wild. When you are not sure and confident you become wild because instead of following through with good force you pull up short sometime. Dunn has been a good pitching coach for LSU but maybe too good because he has his staff throwing and following through to the target with full force, wearing some of their arms out. Not saying the Wave want to go the opposite way and wear their arms out. Pitching is about hitting the target and following threw with good force to the catchers mitt. Goes hand in hand pitcher catcher coordination of target. Making sure pitchers are following through. Wave has to work on that, the consistency is not there between this staff and catcher.

Our pitching staff is wearing their arms out by throwing too many balls, and wearing out the opposing batters by hitting so many.

lol, Take Zack Hess trying to throw 95 mph pulls his groin??? They are winding up throwing hard!!! Watching the speed gun behind home plate some pitches by the Wave pitchers are low 80's and upper 70's. Lack of confidence to throw hard at the glove.

What in the world are you talking about? Who’s throwing in the 70’s? Name names.
The original post is a bunch of nonsense too. You don’t know pitching quite as well as you think you do.

Sit behind home plate when the guy has the radar gun on, I am not pulling things out the air. This is when they are struggling throwing strikes. Velocity suffers as they quit following through, Massey was doing it against UNO some of his balls dropped in front of home Plate. Raj has done it when he loses control, several others. Then when their velocity drops if they do get the ball over home plate, batters rip into it.
