“Our whole goal now is like my first year here,” said Dunleavy, who went 6-25 overall and 3-15 in the AAC in 2016-17. “We’ve got to get better each day and become the best team we can become when we go to the conference tournament.”
In our preseason thread my take that MD had to coach his a$$ off this year to not have a repeat of his first year was obviously met with resistance by those that had a more optimistic {or myopic) view. How nice, or discouraging, that MD is now also comparing this year to his first? Same goals as his first year...hope he can achieve that high bar of 6 wins. Geez.

If you are not moving forwards, you are moving backwards. This has to end, we're moving backwards. It's the middle of January and we're wondering if the team gets to 6 wins by seasons end!

0-4 in conference and OOC results that couldn’t have been worse (against very marginal competition).

Almost a week until next game (which is on the road).

If Dannen doesn’t pull the trigger today, MD is here through the season.

He is here through the season. I'd be shocked if TD pulled the trigger mid season.

You are wasting your time here. When you have claims like the 0-4 conference start is against "very marginal competition" and 3 of those games are against Cincinnati, SMU and Memphis (historically 3 of the better programs in the conference), you are fighting a losing battle. Mike Dunleavy MUST be fired. Minds are made up and the facts will be made to suit the premise.

Just remember. Point spreads and betting have a dubious history when it comes to the Tulane vs Memphis basketball series.

A good game against Memphis!! Moral Victory!! We covered the point spread! Hallelujah!

We're winning at a .250 clip. That's the number that's going to get our coach fired. MAYBE we win a game in the AAC tournament, but that's as far as we will go, at best. We're not going to beat a 2nd team, that would be a team that gets a 1st round bye and losing to us would kill their post season ambitions.

You are wasting your time here. The reference to marginal competition had to do with the out of conference schedule - which was a complete joke yet resulted in a losing Green Wave record.
