There's the real Lisa team. Sucks as usual.

Typical of too many on this site to jump all over the losses, but have nothing to say after wins.

Yep.
Stockton affirmatively refuses to do things necessary to improve this program.... can't be bothered. This team would have been atrocious had Ursin not fallen into her lap.

Imagine if we hadn’t lost a certain other blue chip player . . .

The girls had a bad game. This team is better than last years team IMO. LSU played very well and had a size advantage in the paint. We missed too many FT’s and open shots. Got behind early and couldn’t make up the difference. I think we could to see a NCAA invite this year if we play to our potential in conference and at least split with USF.
Coaches preseason poll
Team (First-Place Votes) Points
1. USF (8) 98

4. Cincinnati (2) 73
5. Temple 57
6. Wichita State 54
7. Houston 49
8. Memphis 40
9. East Carolina 36
10. SMU 31
11. Tulsa 10

LSU had a losing record last season. They were picked to come i 8th this year. Mulkey whined about scheduling Florida Gulf Coast. Yet they still whipped us. Doubt we make the NCAA's and maybe not even the NIT. This year should be NCAA or bust for LS.

Yes. I get all that but I like this team.
We actually have some quality talent. We just had a bad Qtr and couldn’t make it up. Credit LSU they played well for 40 minutes. But unless we beat USF at least once then you’ll probably be correct about the NCAA’s.

I like all of our teams. I hope they all make the post season. I just don't see it with this team. I hope you end up being right but LS hasn't inspired confidence for a while.

6-1 with today’s win over TAMU. LSU’s RPI jumped to 25 recently.

Players noted that they felt the effects of playing in the high altitude.

Has any employee in Tulane's history pulled more cash out of Tulane than Lisa Stockton?
Cowen probably. Maybe Rick Jones, but I doubt it. And that's about it.

Beat Troy tonight 91-84. The big news is Ursin had the first women's triple double ever for Tulane.

13 rebounds for a guard her size is impressive. I’ve seen Grace Daley play many times and she’d rack up many double doubles (pts and assists) seen Janell Burst as well. She’d rack up many double doubles (pts and rebounds) but neither got that triple double. Extremely impressive!
Congrats to Moon!

She's a great player; but we needed a record-setting performance from her to beat Troy.
It really would be nice if Stockton would do some recruiting; a decent supporting cast would make this a good team.
