I agree. It’s not good for the baseball purist. Takes away the excitement of “free” baseball.

It is terrible that they are using beer league rules at these levels.

Real good day. 😁😁

I attended both games yesterday. After Bennett Lee hit the HR to tie the game and Tulane went on to win UCF was SHELL-SHOCKED and there was no way they were going to win that second game.

Burns starts the game by robbing UCF of a hit behind the bag.

Tulane up 3-0 after 1. They intentionally walked Lee again. Aviles made them pay with a double off the wall.

Fun game to listen to. Amazingly we still have shot to win the conference.

Good weekend series for the Wave and good luck in Cincy! Maybe Jerry Springer will be in the stands rooting for the Greenies! He was my fraternity
President when I was at Tulane until that stupid spaghetti fight.

Anyone know how bad Bennett Lee is injured? Will he be ok by next weekend?

Just going by TV they said they couldn’t confirm whether or not his wrist was fractured. I think this morning he woke up with some pain and told the coaches. I guess if it’s still in pain tomorrow he’ll probably get an X-ray and know for sure.

He went down to the bullpen to catch.

Well that's not good. When he went out early in the season it didn't go well for us. Hopefully it's not fractured. He's a stud.

Looks ,to me, like that the home team has the advantage. If the visiting team doesn't score, the home team can bunt the runner to 3rd and hope for a ball on the outfield grass by the next batter. If neither team scores, the 11th would play out the same way. In a shoot-out situation like this, the home team knows what they have to do and can adjust accordingly. Am I right or wrong :?: :?: :)
