UCONN lost 8-5 to Nebraska plays tomorrow in the elimination game.

Cincy stuns defending National Champs Oregon St 7-6. A.J. Bumpass goes 5 for 5 to lead the Bearcats to the upset.

Only ECU advances.Paired with Louisville next. Hope they make it to Omaha and do damage there.

They had to burn up their pitching to get there. They would have benefitted by having a Regional that didn't start till tomorrow like LSU's.

"I was frustrated when (the bracket) came out," Godwin said. "Look, I know we're little, poor East Carolina, but the kids couldn't do anything more than what they did. We couldn't draw up a better schedule. "
"It's a joke, to be quite honest with you. I just felt like we had earned that."
""The student-athlete welfare, if the NCAA is so concerned about that we wouldn't have had to play the first game on Friday," Godwin said. "But I guess that's the way it is when you're a non-power five school. ... "

They didn’t win the AAC tournament.
They scored one run all weekend. How is that on the committee?

I get him on the pitching angle but like tps noted they scored one run all weekend. Not going to win like that.
