LSU is a cesspool of misconduct- football players who commit violent criminal acts without punishment, coaches paying basketball players to attend, supporters paying athletes to sign and to play. And never any reproach or punishment. This has been going on forever, can’t recall a big time running back in the 1870’s whose father was given a contract to sell tires to the state. If Edward’s really wanted to be a reformer, he would clean house, but his political career would be over.

1. It's sad to see.
2. LSU doesn't care about the side effects, they will win at all costs. Miles was loved until the wins dried up.

Damn, the latest on Les Miles. This guy makes New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo look celibate. And, amazing how LSU was able to keep all of this secret for so long! :?:

As has been written before, it is truly a cesspool. It is also absurd all of these stories have to be written by USA Today because the Louisiana media would never expose the evil at LSU. Disgusting

This belongs in the other Louisiana schools forum and should be merged with the thread that was already there.

But, nobody sees it there because we had to disable “Recent Topics” for the “Those Other Louisiana Schools Forum” because of the ULALA trolls?

This is the first time I’ve ever had a nice thing to say about USA Today. USA Today, keep it up. It’s disgusting how the ncaa has done nothing. Hows everything going with the Will Wade case ?

Another minority female athletic employee goes public
https://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge ... ca8c8.html
Sharon Lewis, who also oversees alumni relations for the Athletic Department, told USA Today she plans this week to file a series of lawsuits, including a federal Title IX lawsuit, a state whistleblower lawsuit, an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission grievance and a lawsuit alleging violations of the Racketeer Influence and Corrupt Organizations Act, better known as RICO.

Lewis, who is Black, alleges she has been discriminated against based on her race and sex, underpaid and punished for trying to stop sexual harassment on campus. Lewis has not filed the lawsuits yet; her representatives sent out a news release Tuesday afternoon saying that they planned to file the lawsuits Wednesday and would hold a news conference then.

This could cost Ken Polite his Justice Dept opportunity
https://www.nola.com/news/education/art ... d5bc6.html
The draft report from Polite’s firm judged that LSU had “a good structure in place to receive and investigate/resolve (sexual misconduct) complaints, as well as substantial resources and support services for those involved” at LSU.

Typical money grabbers, making up stories.
Just piling on when LSU is vulnerable. Disgraceful. LSU’s own internal investigation showed no justification from these 16 students. The accused just so happen to retire “recently”, it was time after long and distinguished careers where transparency was always a key factor in their careers as educators in the LSU system. Good work to those two, hell of a career. God bless.

LSU reply to be fair to all parties:
