He's well regarded and may work out, however, I believe it was a missed opportunity for Tech to make a spash hire - i.e. Brent Venables, Chris Peterson, UTSA's coach, Kendal Briles, Sonny Dykes, etc.
Venerable, Petersen and the UTSA coach may get calls from TCU, which in my opinion is a better choice that Texas Tech (don't tell my wife).... TCU, located in FTW, not Lubbock, is a much easier to recruit to...the facilities are very nice, on par with Tech's.... but stranger things have happened during the coaching carnival of past seasonsAberzombie1892 wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 12:30 pm He's well regarded and may work out, however, I believe it was a missed opportunity for Tech to make a spash hire - i.e. Brent Venables, Chris Peterson, UTSA's coach, Kendal Briles, Sonny Dykes, etc.
Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !
