Apparently, Graff “doesn’t have it!” I think he will come to regret the day he left Tulane

I’m sure there will be opportunities for Graff to come back if that’s the case. But I think his current gig is pretty good. I bet he gets more time off than he did calling football, basketball, and baseball.

I agree with Wizard, Graff's doing just fine. He's one of thirty NBA play by announcers, calling for his home team in his home city, and he can still be around Tulane as well. What's not to like about that? I'd bet with what he's making with the Pels, no way we could afford Graff any more. It would strictly be a labor of love if he were to come back. Let's give the new guy a chance. He surely can't be worse than AA.

Hoss has a long history with WWL. He had to be the odds on favorite. I think they were looking more for a Jim Henderson type guy on this search. Graff IMO would have been more enthusiastic similar to Al Wester in the early days of the Saints. Al also did college FB (Notre Dame) before making the move to the Saints.
