I don’t believe we are making any changes. As for the school upriver-They need to hire a eunuch after the Les Miles baby batter parties. Somebody from Iowa doesn’t seem to know that baseball is one of the sports we can exceed in.

Be a Hero Today.... Adopt a Shelter Pet... The Beatles once sang "Can't Buy Me Love"... I disagree, unconditional Love can be bought, for the nominal adoption fee at your local Pet Shelter !

Schloss has been screaming for years the whole partial scholarship situation for Div. 1 baseball is a killer for private schools like TCU, but take a look @ Vandy, Stanford, Dallas Baptist University & Notre Dame who have all now made it to the sweet 16?golfnut69 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 9:55 amdirect from College Station

We know about Vandy and Stanford endowments helping baseball. Dallas Baptist has no football program baseball is their flagship program. ND (11 billion endowment probably helping them also).Wave755 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 11:30 amSchloss has been screaming for years the whole partial scholarship situation for Div.

Let's hope Louisiana Promise helps us for in-state recruiting.tpstulane wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 1:45 pmWe know about Vandy and Stanford endowments helping baseball. But good for agents getting their coaches raises.
LSU AD flew to Omaha over the weekend. I guess he’s now looking at someone from one of the CWS teams.

Exactly. It's reached a point where having LSU on your resume is considered a blight by most of the collegiate world--whether your a president, AD or coach.
Tulane is the University of Louisiana

Yeah, there are a lot of bad things that can be said about LSU but there isn't a school in the country that is as willing to invest in their baseball program. They'll money-whip somebody.Profoundwizard wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 3:52 pmI’d wait until after you see who it is before making a statement like that. Could be one of the head coaches in Omaha right now
God Bless Everyone!
LSU lands Arz HC Jay Johnson. However Schloss hired away his top assistant and pitching coach. Got him to Texas A&M.
Nate Yeskie has decided to join @CoachSchloss and @AggieBaseball as Associate Head Coach. He will not be heading to LSU. Strong get for the #Aggies.

I’d say they did pretty well. Jay Johnson, CWS series runner-up in 2016. Went to the CWS again in 2021 and oh yeah he’s bringing one of the best players in the country with him. Jacob Berry is transferring from Arizona to LSU with him.
Jacob Berry batted .352 with 17 home runs last season at Arizona. And was an All-American infielder
He hired former D1 Baseball assistant coach of the year Jason Kelly as his pitching coach.tpstulane wrote: ↑Fri Jun 25, 2021 8:18 am LSU lands Arz HC Jay Johnson.
