Manning was lousy college basketball coach (116-140) and should Kansas hire him as AD he’d probably flop again. Just because he was a great player doesn’t always translate to coaching or administration. Wouldn’t surprise me though because he’s the fan favorite they’ll probably go with him and Kansas will continue to be at the bottom of P5 schools.golfnut69 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 3:58 pmhttps://www2.ljworld.com/sports/ku-foot ... jeff-long/

I'm guessing a new AD at Kansas diminishes the likelihood of hiring Coach Fritz.

Especially if the new AD has to research Willie Fritz and learns that his teams failed to play 60 minutes of football in 11 of 12 games. That might be more damning than the 10 games under .500 in the AAC.GreenLantern wrote: ↑Wed Mar 10, 2021 6:21 pm I'm guessing a new AD at Kansas diminishes the likelihood of hiring Coach Fritz.

Which really is bullshit now. You can win at Tulane and you can win at SMU

So AD and HC out at Kansas. Does LSU have any accountability or Shame ? They are the genesis and common denominator. What’s Will Wade up to these days ? He must have been banished after those FBI tapes correct ? LSU is a university and a higher education institution . . . Right ?

In spite of the indignation of many female legislators, for LSU there will be no consequences of any kind for any of this & the chancellor is only an interim anyway? A Southern State University is a Southern State University is a Southern State University.

Former LSU president, now @ Oregon St., to be disciplined or even fired for his role in “Les Milesgate”? The dominos keep falling everywhere but ethically challenged and morally bankrupt LSWho? https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/inv ... 704231001/

True. But the rest of the world has figured it out—and having LSU on your resume will soon be an obstacle to being hired. All because LSU keeps their head in the “win at all costs” sand.tpstulane wrote: ↑Mon Mar 15, 2021 9:30 pmJust incredible. Excellent video report last night by WBRZ on the LSU Les Miles and athlete sexual assault misconduct coverup and the OSU board meeting tomorrow concerning the fate of former LSU president King Alexander.
https://www.wbrz.com/news/f-king-alexan ... t-deepens/
And, for how much longer can LSU "stonewall" this thing; in particular, if Alexander gets canned tomorrow?
P.S. - It appears Alexander took a 30K pay cut to get out of LSWho for the same job @ OSU. And, if King gets fired tomorrow he will be "radioactive" for any future university hire.

King’s toast. It’s a matter of when it’s announced.Wave755 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 10:51 am Excellent video report last night by WBRZ on the LSU Les Miles and athlete sexual assault misconduct coverup and the OSU board meeting tomorrow concerning the fate of former LSU president King Alexander.

Agreed, "King" is "going down" tomorrow. And, this will make LSU look even worse for doing essentially nothing to anyone involved for the scandal still in its employ.tpstulane wrote: ↑Tue Mar 16, 2021 11:58 amKing’s toast. We need the federal government or folks on the state level with big aspirations outside of Louisiana to step in and CRUSH LSU. They are prime for it, and someone can make there name on the national level for crushing these criminals
LSU rightfully getting further dragged through the mud on this thing:
USA Today - LSU administrator gave rapists, stalkers and other Title IX violators slaps on the wrist.

Now let's see what happens to OSU president and former LSU president King Alexander beginning @ about 4:30 p.m. today @ Corvallis our time?

The NCAA leveled a severe on punishment on Penn St for sweeping Jerry Sandusky under the rug, they should step in and punish LSU.Wave755 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:26 am LSU rightfully getting further dragged through the mud on this thing:

Absolutely a great point. The only difference was boys being raped vs girls being raped. NCAA has to come down hard on LSU athletics for this massive coverup. This is outrageous that LSU hasn’t had anything done to them but a baby slap on the wrist.JerseyWave wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:50 amThe NCAA leveled a severe on punishment on Penn St for sweeping Jerry Sandusky under the rug, they should step in and punish LSU.Wave755 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:26 am LSU rightfully getting further dragged through the mud on this thing:

And Penn State sued and the NCAA dropped the punishments. The NCAA can't do anything about rape and/or its cover-up. The SEC could but probably won't.JerseyWave wrote: ↑Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:50 am The NCAA leveled a severe on punishment on Penn St for sweeping Jerry Sandusky under the rug, they should step in and punish LSU.
Will Wade's recruiting violations are another story. They would fall under the NCAA's jurisdiction.
God Bless Everyone!
Damn, F. Alexander King throws both LSU and Miles “under the bus” for his hearing before the OSU board:

But, will it be enough to keep his job?

King gets reprieve for now, OSU places him “on probation” until June 1, 2021.

Something is "rotten in B. R.," or is it instead, "many things are rotten in B.R."? Will Wade claims he was "lied to by Dick Vitale" for agreement not to mention for interviews the pending LSU basketball scandal? And, I think we can all agree the NCAA is a total joke. A federal grand jury finally got to the truth on Lance Armstrong after through repeated lies and intimidation of others he successfully dodged multiple anti-doping agency investigations for years. It is one thing to lie to a body like the NCAA, quite another to commit perjury before a federal grand jury.
"It might be until you're 170 until something gets done," ESPN's Karl Ravech said as he discussed the investigation of LSU with Vitale.
