I don't expect the $9.99 price to be firm. Look for promotions around $50 annually with auto-renewal. Really, this is more than I pay for the e-editions of the Washington Post and New York Times combined.
Being our (somewhat) local paper, I wish them well. As the folks at the Washington Post say, "Democracy dies in darkness". I'm not optimistic that this is a recipe for success at this price.
