All he needed to do was hire Pete Jenkins as a consultant to teach a crash course in 2 gap technique and Army would have melted away like butter.
But, Jim always knows what's best!

But of course everyone thinks Army isn't very good. OT games against top 10 opponents two years in a row, but they're over-rated!

We'd love to go to OT with top 10 teams. Hell, some fans are still talking about a HALF TIME lead we ALMOST had against LSU over 10 years ago. 44 games without a victory against ranked teams says a whole lot.

They aren't good you fool. They run an archaic offense that entire coaching staffs are at a loss for how to defend against it. Just like us in '97 & '98. When we ran the proto-rpo. These guys are running the retro -bone.

But their D held Michigan to 14 points in regulation. And played OU even in regulation a year ago. Yeah, they're not very good. DOPE!

So I guess we sucked in 1998 but nobody knew how to defend against us. NICE!

And if they run an archaic offense there should be YEARS of film on how to stop it. YEARS!

I truly question if you've watched a full Army game the past two years. Seriously do you watch?

Or, to put it another way, Tulane has lost 44 STRAIGHT against ranked teams. None have been very close. Army has taken two top 10 teams to OT in their last 10 games.

Yet you say they stink. Who is the fool????????

Remember, many a coach, including Willie Fritz THIS WEEK says "it's more about Jimmy's and Joe's than ex's and O's."
Army has talent, and is NOT one dimensional.
