Re: Donor Fatigue nationwide
Donors will have to donate whether it's for NIL or facilities. But eventually the NCAA will continue to take losses and some sort of employee model will take over, especially for the P2.

Re: ULL Series
I agree WW. Need a sweep since ULOL's RPI is pretty bad. I'm glad the team is improving, but I'm also not buying in until we dominate conference play and consistently beat quality teams. This conference is winnable since ECU doesn't look great so far.

Re: WSU Game Thread
Typical Jaylen Forbes this season with a mediocre game and trying to start an altercation. He represents everything wrong with a Hunter coached team. Unnecessary cheap shot on the Wichita player, on Senior Day especially. But this has been his story all year with little production, but starting alte...

Not sure why Traylor is listed ahead of Sumrall when most of his success was at sorry C-USA and Sumrall has already beat him once.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
I love seeing what Will Wade has done here in Lake Charles. Went to a game Monday night and it was alot of fun, but he's not going to a non-power conference team. He's privately turned down DePaul. He went to McNeese because it's the easiest path to get to a NCAA tournament from a mid-small major co...

Would love to see him with the Raiders. I think Antonio Pierce is a legit head coach.

Men's and women's basketball lose again last night.
Time has come for change.
Baseball so far is improved, but the season is young.

We'll be joining USF in the ACC eventually IMO, but the question is what version of the ACC will be left.

Re: CFP 14-team next but only one auto G5 spot
I think the P2 are throwing these scenarios out there so the ACC/Big 12 can "reject" it making it clear for the P2 to go on its own which is their goal and to do it without the NCAA which is continuing to get hammered in court.

I agree M, they're playing hard, but it doesn't mean they trust the coach.
That said, Forbes has struggled this season. I know he's had some injuries.

Re: 2024 Football Schedule
Need to get out of this conference. Hard to sell this to the casual fan. Games against Temple, Rice, Tulsa, UAB and Charlotte, etc. See us either 9-3 or 10-2. Please, don't schedule K State at 2. Needs to be a 7 kick. We have Memphis, USF, and K-State at home this year which is a pretty good slate.

Re: 2024 Football Schedule
I like the Thursday night game against SLU. Gives us an easy one with extra time to prepare against K-State. Plus it will be a night game as well so it won't be too hot.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
Popping back in because I saw talk of facilities and wanted to let you know David Harris's vision of a practice facility at UNI is coming to fruition now. Our state BOR approved it today and we have a decent sized group of donors that have completely covered the cost of it at this point. So the pos...

Dannen left the non-football sports in purgatory, yet he managed to get a P2 job. What a shame.

Re: Going to be a long spring and summer for AD Harris
I’m not sure Harris is going to swoop in like an angel of death and stack bodies of mediocre coaching staffs.. But he needs to at least make a change in Men’s basketball, a major revenue sport, where we are currently tanking in year 5. 1-7 over the last month. Just embarrassing in a one bid confere...

Bump this thread back up.
What a terrible winter so far. Hopefully AD Harris is getting his wish-list ready for MBB and WBB. To say disappointing is an understatement. Time for a change in both sports. Baseball looks slightly better than last year which isn't saying much.

Re: Four ACC expansion candidates to replace Fla. ST.
Seeing rumors online that Notre Dame is going to join the Big 10 since conference championships are heavily rewarded in the CFP. I haven't seen anything to that affect. ND's AD is on the committee and he was happy with the set up. They understand they don't play a CCG so they had no problem having ...

Moving games to 6:00 has been a failure. The number of working people who can make it to a 6:00 start is far less than the number who can be there by 7:00. I think that was Dannen’s idea so more students would come out. [b ]Why do you people do not get it, TV dictates time, We have no choice on tim...

Re: ECU Game Thread
I was only able to watch about 3 minutes of today's game. But in those 3 minutes, on two occasions we brought the ball down and put up a missed 3-pointer--and in both cases there wasn't a single Tulane player inside the 3-point line. As soon as the ball goes up, they all start heading back up-court...

Great effort by the team. Only lost because a few breaks didn't go their way
