Get Derek Carr off my team. He stinks. I would prefer Pratt to play Saturday and Sunday.

Re: New Athletic Director Candidate Thread
So I put my tinfoil hat on this weekend regarding Troy to Washington. The two primary jobs of an AD is hiring football/Bball coaches and fundraising. Fritz and Hunter were hardly some sort of off the radar hires. Hunter has been an upgrade over the previous but hardly anything amazing. Fritz is grea...

I appreciate what Dannen did for us last year, but to be honest I would not be too enthusiastic about this hire if I was a Husky fan.

As my former employer always said any accident should and could be prevented you learn from them and eliminate them in the future. Injuries can be the same, at a younger age I use to get a lot of soft tissue injuries, now at 68 and a runner and cyclist for the Senior Olympics I have avoided injurie...

Pratt is now a game time decision to play according to ESPN. He will test the knee in pre game. This is horrible news. Already missing our best defensive player. Biggest game in decades and this crap happens.

stupidity is hating on a trans woman promoting a beer brand. "boo hoo my booze went woke :(" jesus christ grow up. Are you referring to Dylan Mulvaney? That is not a trans woman. It's a guy who could not succeed in anything he tried, so he started dressing like a woman, putting makeup on ...

Re: Replacement for SMU?
It would be interesting if OSU and WSU joined the MWC, then become 2 extra votes to disband the conference so it can be cherry picked. The MWC would probably not give them voting rights for a period of time to prevent that. The problem with doing that is, they lose ALL the assets from the PAC: the ...

Re: Tulane among a number of schools filing to join the imploding PAC-12
Looks like Stanford, Cal and SMU are back in serious play. It is so stupid. The schools are basically taking massive losses as they beg their way onto the ACC. It is so silly The ACC is going to use the added money from the Dallas and NoCal tv markets to give to existing members to stave off the dep...

Houston, Cincy & UCF got out of the AAC for an exit fee of 18 million each, but the Big 12 has a media deal, needless to say, the PAC 4 doesn’t but perhaps 🍏 could help if it really wants this to happen? https://www.sportskeeda.com/college-football/news-what-exit-fee-aac-mwc-conferences-analyzi...

Re: Tulane among a number of schools filing to join the imploding PAC-12
What a HUGE winner Rice would be in the scenario of joining with PAC. They would have gone from CUSA to PAC in 2 years when there was no reason to think they would ever get out of CUSA. And the same is true for UNT, UTSA, FAU and UAB if the AAC dissolution scenario is the path the PAC takes. Rice i...

Re: ACC looks at Stanford/Cal
They going to end up in the MWC. ACC doesn’t want that travel for those teams. I think the AAC can land those teams because it's a better TV contract with more expose compared to the MWC which is worsening on the football field. The AAC can even start to poach the best from the MWC if they land the...

They looking MWC next if AAC rejects them. . https://www.espn.com/college-sports/story/_/id/38169310/mountain-west-mulls-next-move-acc-decides-cal-stanford The interesting thing is that Stanford FB may have to go independent to remain a P5 while all the other sports would join the MWC. They will find a way to get out of that contract. Show me a school who has avoided exit fees? FSU, Clemson want the ACC to distribute on merit. This is their play. The rights agreement was specifically for this moment. You can possibly time value the money over years but it’s $120mm, non negotiable.

Re: Tulane among a number of schools filing to join the PAC-12
The ACC needs to get proactive...they currently have 14 Full Time members, all in the eastern time zone....add USF, Tulane, Memphis (they added L'ville didn't they) or Rice and SMU....gives them expansive metro TV exposure in the central time zone...give the new members a reduced revenue amount, bu...
