Re: AAC Baseball Coaches Poll

You can take polls with a grain of salt. Our pitching will be better this year. Chase Solesky has recovered from his back injury and Josh Bates has improved. Connor Pellerin will be our closer and Brendan Cellucci could also provide quality innings. Justin Campbell had a solid summer and Ryan Green...

Re: Will Hall New OC

I got this from a post of Red Cup Rebellion, the Ole Miss SB Nation site: Quotes from Matt Luke from Friday morning: "Will Hall is an excellent young coach who I was interested in and interviewed. We talked about money, we talked about who he would bring in if there was another opening on our ...

Re: Will Hall New OC

He interviewed with Ole Miss this past Monday. And he's upstairs yesterday in our facility yesterday? Strange. My issue is if this guy was already ready to jump ship, what's the next few years going to be like? I say cut bait and find an OC that wants to be here and is loyal and appreciative to his ...

Re: Will Hall New OC

He's listed on the Tulane website as OC so I would guess he signed a contract. With that being said, no sour grapes but if I'm the boss and I just hired you a few weeks ago and you are supposedly spending the night on another campus, I'd cut ties immediately. I need a little more loyalty from my sta...

Heck of a team, ranked 15th nationally in points allowed, 13.3. Played a real good schedule with Texas Tech(8-4) , Cinci(7-4), #8 Air Force(9-3), #19 Georgia, N. Carolina (8-4) and #7 LSU.

Is it me or as soon as we changed offensive philosophies, we started getting 3 star offensive commits?

Chris Kapilovic, former UNC OC. UNC's problem was defense. The offense was ranked in the top 40. Former OL coach as well.

Re: Houston wipes out the Wave 48-17

Looking at Rivals recruiting site, it should have been no surprise why Houston, Cinci & UCF are that much better than us. Houston has finished 7th, 1st & 6th over the last 3 years with (1) 5 star and (3) 4 star recruits. Cinci has finished 1st, 7th & 2nd with (2) 4 star recruits. UCF has...

Re: Houston wipes out the Wave 48-17

Ruse is running the offense Fritz wants him to run. Like it or not, if we win next week Fritz would've improved by a win every year and be heading to a bowl game with nice wins over Memphis and South Florida. Nothing about the other three wins should really be called nice but wins they were. I have...

Think what we could have accomplished if we hadn't built the stupid stadium. Could have had 1st class basketball arena.

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

Willie Fritz, for better or worse, will be the Tulane football coach in 2019. Anyone that thinks otherwise is kidding themselves. And Dannen isn't wasting his time trying to destroy Tulane baseball. That gets done with little or no effort. Let's hope Latham makes a difference on that front. Meanwhi...

Re: Potential head football coach candidates search

Auburn fans started a go-fund me page this morning for the buyout of Malhzains contract. People are delusional if they think WF will be replaced. The Pres doesn't really care about athletics, the AD is the one who hired WF and he comes from a small time program. WF will be here a long time. Besides,...

Fritz and his assistant coaches should have stayed at Georgia Southern. They had no business at a higher level based on their coaching abilities or lack thereof. Of course, from Fritz's vantage point, he made out well getting a salary at Tulane that I would guess is at least double or maybe even tr...
