Re: Caleb Ransaw
Just read up on the recruitment of Michael Penix. Originally committed to Tennessee. But, the real story was that he was passed by quite a few “big” schools and their commits didn’t pan out worth a poop. After reading the comments from our “self appointed know-it-alls”, I think I’ll trust Sumrall as...

Re: 2024 Baseball Season
2005 was a true setback and for many schools would have been a death knoll. As much as I wailed on Cowdick, they did “get us through “. We’ve had some success in baseball since but not like those previous seasons. Hope and believe that we can get there but so much has changed in college baseball. Wi...

As for Jones—he was the best thing that happened to Tulane since the Charlie Mac/Dale Brown/Skip coaching decisions in their last games against us.

GreenieGB—I agree with you that Horton has the tools. I watched him in HS and he was AOK. But I do have a question. Are you blind or deaf? Just wondering. No Ned to respond to negativity but the only proof is on the field. Hope Horton gets his chance. I’ll take almost anyone who helps us win.

All of the “lesser” bowls have been lousy due to opting/portal. Most are one sided with practice for subs

Re: Tulane’s staying power analyzed
Different era in tulane football. Hope springs eternal—but it never did under Cowdick. Only time will tell but never have we had this long of believing. Had a few sparks in the past only to be extinguished by dumb and dumber. The sky will be bluer and the grass greener. How ironic is that. MERRY CHR...

Re: ACC looks at Stanford/Cal
I believe that Clemson and FSU want out but I don’t think the sec will let them in. They don’t need them and I can’t see Florida or SC letting them in. If FSU goes independent they’ll be the Tulane of the 60’s unless they have a smarter “Gibson Hall. The p5 will be p2 after the expulsions of the wea...

To quote Churchill,” this is not the beginning of the end, nor is it the end of the beginning (or something like that). But don’t crap in your pants! We will be fine. The signing period is in two parts. “. Now, have some faith that our man can coach them up. IE take Tyjae, some of you thought yuk,he’...

Remember where we were but most importantly—know where we are now!!
As for coach Rich Rod—loved what he did for us, but why on gods green earth would someone go back to the doctor that gave you a bad colonoscopy?

I am one who has chastised those that “criticize “ others by calling them bitch slappers. We won’t agree on everything and how to be successful—but we all want the same thing. God, I’m sounding like Rodney King! The verbal fighting is not what I’m looking for in this forum. I’m looking for the truth...

One of the “coaches “ that I’ve think that’s been instrumental in our wins is our strength coach Hester. Any word on his situation. Hope he stays. Sumrall must know about his achievements with this team

Re: Jon Sumrall - New Football Head Coach
It’s time to move on with a proven coach coming in. Tulane F’d Fritz and Fritz F’d us. Sumrall knows that he can win here. That fallacy has been debunked from the Tulane history. Time to move on to 13-0 and be in that 12 which will be coming sooner than you think. ROLL WAVE

Re: Jon Sumrall - New Football Head Coach
Welcome back Coach and I’m confident you can keep a winning team with your imprint. I know I’m one of those skeptical people when it comes to Tulane getting it right—but this time I think they did. Tip of the hat to those who were involved in getting it done. Now recruit, recruit, recruit!!! And be ...

Do we really need a judge to make a decision that’s been going on for sometime?
