Re: Football Recruiting 2017
There are 2 weeks left. WF is coming on strong of late with Khalil McClain, Sam Crawford, Paul Gainer, Brian Roberts, Ellison Hubbard, Aaron Donald, Shannon Forman, Issac Buell, and Kierston Johnson. If WF can get 2 of the McClain, Crawford, and Gainer that'd be huge for the offense. Getting more fi...

Tulane ahead of the curve, this from back in 2011. 'Huffington Post: 4% of Tulane girls are "sugar babies"'

Re: Wave beats USF 82-67 for first conference win
Frazier is a good athlete and a good defender but he's more of an athlete than a basketball player at this point. He played center in HS. It's been a tough adjustment in college. Sehic bombed at Vandy and averaged 1 point. Plus he's not playing this year. As for the 3 stars Julien is tiny and clear...

He ran for 30 TDs in 152 carries? Averaged a TD every 5 carries and a 14.1 ypc average? Who was he playing? The three-star recruit was all over the field for LaFayette this past season. As the leader of the Bulldogs’ offense, Whitlow completed 94 of 162 passing for 2,292 yards, 29 touchdowns and 8 ...

Apparently, his mom lives 30 minutes from Auburn, so, if Tulane does snag him, it will be quite the coup given that and that he is the #35 ranked athlete in the nation at 247. http://www.al.com/auburnfootball/index.ssf/2016/07/auburn_at_the_top_for_3-star_a.html http://247sports.com/Player/JaTarvio...

Re: Wave beats USF 82-67 for first conference win
Yea, CMD hasn't done a great job coaching-up these players, although I suspect we'll win the same number of conference games as we did last season. But his main job is to recruit a significantly different degree of player; he will be judged on his ability to do that and how he coaches those players...

Re: Wave beats USF 82-67 for first conference win
Fairly off topic but didn't know where else to put it.
I was reading a wrap up of the Temple-UCONN game from last night. The UCONN paper mentioned the team playing in front of small home crowd of 6500. Just stuck out to me how far Tulane has to go to compete in this conference!

Forget the stadium argument. Who on this staff is supposed to be bringing in top recruits? Jason Rollins the only good recruiter we had this decade was hijacked by UTSA.

Re: Football Recruiting 2017
5 DL visiting, 2 OL including a current commit. It would be fantastic to land about 5/6 of these 3 star rated recruits but if WF doesn't get some O linemen soon it's not gonna matter.

Yup! The only way to get the ball inside (our biggest problem in every single game) without big men. Hopefully this continues.
