Re: NIL and FSU
FSU has been vocal about their conf status, their being left out of playoff, 30 guys sit and NCAA is exposed in bowl blowout. Ya think they were out to get them. Imagine what’s going on out there and they slam FSU for a coach giving a ride to a prospect and his parents to an NIL rep. By the way offe...

Nice matchup zone giving up open 3 after open 3 and offensive rebound if they miss. FRAUD HUNTER.

Re: FAU Game Thread
So far we’ve given up 10 offensive rebounds. Once again rebounding will be the bugaboo that haunts Hunter.

Cmon guys, back both QBs no need to compare them and denigrate them. We’re better than this. Coach Sumrall will work it out.

Re: UNT Game Thread
Had no chance against that team today once we got off the bus…. For 35 minutes everything went their way, ran the shot clock down and made the 3 all day…. That first year JC Guard went 8-10 from 3! Scored 37😎. Most of those 3’s were end of shot clock… every tip, every ball on the floor, every call ...

Watching Tulane punt this year, I noticed the long snapper shown above was almost lobbing the ball to Carroll. I feared a blockevery time we punted. Now Willie’s come and got him. In a bigger league with better coaches, I put the over/under on Houston getting punts blocked at 3.5.

Down 9 with 2:30 to play and Hunter has the defense backing off and letting UNT just dribble out shot clock.

Re: UNT Game Thread
The effort in blocking out is disgusting. There were about 5-6 games they lost last year directly attributable to bad rebounding. Hunter completely disregards that aspect of the game and is adamant about its lack of importance.
FRAUD HUNTER. That’s our coach.

Kids refuse to box out and fight for rebounds. We have more talent than the coach has basketball knowledge. Getting waxed no changes.

Hunter a fraud. His defense allows 3s and putbacks all day and his offense is jack up 3s or dive 1 on 3. Really bad. I really don’t know what he teaches. Oh wait, we killed Rice while playing our big boys big minutes.

Re: Yulman Stadium Upgrades/Improvements
Tulane along with most of the G5 schools and bottom third of the P5 will be playing in what will be a new Div 2 in about 10 years after the elite schools break off into a super Div 1 as will be orchestrated by ESPN and FOX, sort a mini NFL with all athletes paid monthly salaries. Yulman Stadium with...

Re: Here it comes. NCAA to propose a new subdivision
The bottom third of the teams in the P5 conferences won’t make the cut as haves under new setup. ESPN and Fox will demand the trimming of that riff raff. We have a chance to be in the next Div which is really the only hope we have.

Re: QB Ty Thompson
Couple of comments: 1. Seems to have all the physical tools 2. Kinds reminds me of Jordan Love of Packers but without the cannon arm say on deep posts. More of a floater on long passes. 3. Looks like he can run some but like Kai not a twitchy quick scrambler so OL will need to be better in pass prot...

With Kai as one of our QBs going forward, is it too much to ask that this two year feud between a couple of you guys regarding his talent be ended permanently. Just agree to disagree and let’s go all in behind the kid. What do you say? If I'm one of the feuding posters you're referring to, you have...

ESPN wants the sports programming. They get higher ratings than other programming so what ESPN wants, ESPN gets. They and Fox are running and ruining college football.

Re: Kai Horton
My opinion of Kai is he has a nice feel for the passing game and has good enough arm strength to make all the throws. Does a nice job in his reads and can be very accurate. The caveat is whether Coach Sumrall can get the OL to give him the time to take advantages of his positives. He can move a bit ...
